Saturday September 1st

Went to see it on Thursday. Was so excited. First 10 mins rocked. Then the screen went blank 4 times but the sound remained on. We walked out. Going again on Monday. I've been hearing rumors of a sequel.

IMO they suck. Sound great but suck. Most can even reduce performance because they are not taking in clean air as they are not encased. As stated above the Z ecu does adapt and cancels out any potential gains. Mate of mine has a Skyline 34. It arrived in the country with a charger installed. I got him to source an original air box. Power increase, drive was smoother, oil consumption returned to normal. Happy camper.

Are you refering to the Qashqai or the 350? Just that the 350 was US designed. Anyway, concepts are just expensive demos. Interiors are always made with the highest quality materials that would never make it to production. Most interiors on concepts are stupid looking or very high tech as an example of what they could do if it were cost effective. In terms of cabin design I'm more interested in how it flows together rather than material. For example all the dials are targeted at the driver. In an alpha even the stereo controls are angled toward the driver. I only get annoyed when designers use imitation wood or alloy. Now that looks cheap. Not that I would ever buy a car with wood trim in it. Guy

Porsches problem is that they want to break into other markets but the image of the 911 has basically been the same for decades. They have made adjustments to it over the years but it has effected sales. Remember when they changed the front lamps to a tear drop shape. I loved it but fans (customers) didn’t so they went back to the round shape. The style of Porsche is so set in peoples minds that I think Porsche are now afraid to experiment. Do they even do concept cars to gauge response???

This is old news. Saw it months ago. If I was top brass in Porsche I'd be firing people for even considering such an ugly design.

Or MY07 which is approx 310bhp with twin air intakes but that's out of your price range. Any Z is a great Z. Get a test drive as soon as you can and you'll be hooked.

Better in my opinion Crap photo on my phone. I had spent 30 40 mins admiring it while the sun pi**ed off before I thought I should take a pic. Then it rained. Rides about the same. Handles better I think. Performs way better. Looks better especially with those wheels. If the dealer fitted the same to my 04 he'd sell it in no time. Engine is perfect. Gearbox is perfect. Steering and clutch are lighter. Prefer heavy clutch. Interior is way better. Door cards are of a better quality. Price sucks but will be worth it. I'll stop now.
