  1. Traded in my black 07 HR in Dublin last year. It was almost worthless compared to new. New it was about €57k. In 2015 a dealer had it for sale again at I think €11k and trade in was about €7k. I think it had 70k km on it. Clutch and steering were also far better on the HR. BTW I had an 04 Azure before that. Loved that colour. Change to an M6 which I trade in for an tank this year. I was getting about 4mpg in the city where I do 90% of my driving so it had to go.
  2. Give Ewen a call at Clark or PM him here on the forum.
  3. Sure. Don't know what it would cost but it can't be too much. Plenty of bubble wrap and duct tape, it should be fine.
  4. Hi guys, Been away from here for a while now. I see Sarnie's still spamming all. Anywho, the Z is gone a while now and found a few bit's. I've a Competition Clutch Stage 2 - 2 piece. Part number 6073-2100 http://clarkmotorsport.co.uk/parts/Clutch-Kit-Stage-2/2-piece/6073-2100 As my local Nissan dealer said I needed a new flywheel and clutch I purchased it from the excellent Clark Motorsport. Turned out I only needed the flywheel so they left the OEM clutch in it. Due to weight it's probably best if someone in Ireland took it. Yours for £300 or €408 at today's exchange rate. Also have the OEM boot divider or vertical tonneau. I fitted this to my first Z but never got round to fitting to the second. It does have the 4 knobs on the back. £100. Cheers, Guy
  5. Thanks for the quick response guys. Z forum still sets the standard for all forums imo.
  6. Hello all, I know I've been gone for a number of years but life took over and got busy doing other things. Still have my 2007 Z but she's sick in the garage. Nissan kindly called to say clutch and flywheel need replacing. Nissan parts are €700 plus vat for the clutch and €2400 plus vat for the flywheel. They suggest I source elsewhere. Can anyone reccomend an alternative source that I can order today? Alternative manufacturer would also be fine if reccomended. Cheers, Guy
  7. Hey there Was wondering how long it'd take for you to show up. 20k posts! I have been away too long. No kids. S5 is just calling me. Maybe I'm starting to grow up. You have to remember that I can't buy anything newer then 2007 now with our emissions laws. Hey Stew. I guess you've never been to an Irish Nissan dealer. There are no shades of black. I think on the door it says Kuro KH3. Guy
  8. Cheers mate but I'd still have to paint it.
  9. Hey everybody, I know it's been a long time since I stopped by. I gave up smoking, one of my favourite hobbies, and found that I now work twice as hard. Never knew I had it in me. And still get paid the same. Anywho, this week I decide it was time for the z to go and somebody up there thought it'd be funny to make me misjudge the entrance to an underground car park taking half the overly high curb while I was at it. Passenger side skirt is scratch to @*!#. It's fixable but as luck would have it the dealer I'm trading with has an S5 I want. So I could get it repaired but it would take time or somebody here might have one in black (2007 model) they don't need that they'd be will to part with for some quick cash. Cheers, Guy
  10. My phone was never spat out of the cassette player.
  11. That's the only explaination for 17k posts. Hello stranger lol The burn L on tg.com with the dickheads talking over the video brought me back. I knew there'd be a thread. I particularly liked how one muppet sugested calling the fire brigade yet didn't.
  12. That's the only explaination for 17k posts.
  13. My last phone dropped nicely into the tape player. It got a little hot but worked perfectly. My current phone is a blackberry so I take slightly better care of it and have it on charge whenever I'm in the car so it sits in the cup holders. No ash tray in my car. In fact I gave up smoking last Jan.
  14. I looked at getting the rear but, as mentioned above, the quoted price including tax and ridiculous delivery charge was just stupid. All that of course was before you even considered fitting costs. I seem to remember they quoted me a price including delivery and then applied the tax. I told them you cant go applying tax onto a delivery charge provided by another company but they said that was the norm. I don’t think I was very polite after that.
  15. Interesting read Mr.T Car was serviced Jan 20th and they put in 10w 40. I'll check the manual tomorrow to be sure then have it out with them next week. I don't think this will solve the gear change problems but will hopefully deal with that odd response problem.
  16. If you mean LM as in Nismo LM then no they are not. These are GT4 wheels.
  17. Holy thread revival Batman! I have a new sound that I think is relevant to this thread so I figured I'd post. 1st to 2nd has become a nightmare in my 2007. Hot/cold it doesn't matter. It clunks when cold as expected but sometimes does it when warm. Now this is the new one. Hot or cold it doesn't matter. It sounds like a turbo dump wush sound. I actually find myself looking at the gear stick every time it does it. 2nd to 3rd is a bit grindy. 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th seem fine. Sometimes she feels down on power. And, she randomly started to splutter when accelerating slowly. (I live in the city) It's like a learner driver kangaroo hopping. Doesn’t happen when pulling away. Only when already moving. The cure is to accelerate harder but she shouldn't be doing it at all. She'll do this at random between 1st, 2nd, 3rd. It's as if she's being starved of fuel. If the markets hadn't gone to @*!# I'd of traded her in for a 370 already but now she's with me long term. Will talk to the garage today and book her in for next week. Anyone got a copy of the synco TSB?

    How fast

Looks like a Porsche to me when paused.
  19. Yea this one comes up on a regular basis. It's the phone aerial. The mic in by the sunglass holder and interior lights. Some Z's have had the aerial nicely hidden away under the roof panel. Well at least my first Z did. My second has it on the windscreen.
  20. Williams have been developing a flywheel based KERS. Check out this video of BMW last July. Bloke on the left gets the shock.
  21. I love the idea of the KERS device. It's optional this year with possibly a standard one next year. What's really interesting is that one them has gone with an idea that doesn't involve batteries.
