  1. If Ripspeed did Porkers, this is what it'd be like. Sorry
  2. Not ridiculous at all, I think thats exactly whats happened S-Tune doesnt lower it enough to not be able to get spot on or close to OEM specs - and even then the OEM specs have nothing to do with a steeringwheel not being straight.
  3. Now this is what GoPro's are made for http://www.petapixel.com/2011/11/07/cap ... 30-gopros/
  4. They turn off until you unlock the car again. Unfortunately you'll need to hit the button every time before you lock the car to disable them.
  5. Its got nothing to do with their settings - the only thing you cant get within tollerances with lowered setup usually is the camber, but that doesnt stop the wheel being straight! They need to start with the steering wheel dead centre in the car, then you set the wheels up from there. If they dont understand that concept, then I dont know what they are doing working there
  6. Short answer is no - go back and tell them to set it to OEM settings. The wheel being straight has nothing to do with camber or toe. I suggest you Google them and you'll quickly sus why that is The steering wheel needs to be kept dead ahead when starting the allignment as that is the dead ahead reference you are aiming to get to. Also the rear wheels need to be straight before they do the front as they use that as a reference point. If they cant get it right then speak to the manager and get your money back and go somewhere else.
  7. I kind of agree. Not needed, but they are helpful. I have one in the Zed but the only real reason its needed is for the last 30cm so that I dont reverse too far. I use the wing mirrors for the actual manouvering as the camera distorts everything anyway. I assume the Poker doesnt come with them as standard then Dan
  8. Must be into people carrier teritory soon
  9. Personally I'd install a reverse camera and then reverse into spaces. In fact thats what I do in my 370z! Take the power for the rear camera from the reversing light. Or spend the same time as above practicing where the limits of the car are against a cone
  10. Under Settings > Location Services > System Services > Turn off "Setting Time Zone" It seemed to me (and backed up by reports on the net) that its using Location Services to set the time zone all the time. I could tell as the little icon lit up all the time when you turn on "Status Bar Icon" in the same menu

Maybe the sport settings and suspension work better on smoother German roads? No idea if they are smoother, but I guess they probably are I agree that over here they just rattle you to bits. Still its easy money for them to throw what are most likely cheaper and stiffer suspension on there and charge more money
  14. Can imagine its a bit nippy this time of year out on a kayak You say its a sit on top? Did you consider a proper kayak so you could seal yourself from the elements a bit better or does that not work well with fishing kit? I havent been in a proper sea kayak, but used to do a lot of white water kayaking when I was younger, not quite the same thing though
  15. I was more astonished at the amount of effort it takes that it didnt pull the paint off
  16. Nah thats nothing TBH, they all got up straight away, completely unhurt. Does show how good the power ranger suits are though
  17. Very hit and miss, but there are still good guys out there. Warranty claims very much depend on your dealer putting a good clear argument together for you. I would stick with this dealer now you've found a good one if you need any warranty work doing
  18. It was Fifth Gear - and yes newer car washes arent half as bad as the supermarket chaps with 0.5l of gritty water to last them all day
  19. Would also prove its the ultrasonics or tilt sensor and give them some bits to try and replace
