  1. I have a black 370 too (although not the black edition) and the colour matching on that is pretty good, however before that I had a red 350 in which I was shunted up the rear b*geration just before christmas too, neccessitating a new rear bumper, the resultant insurance job was very poor (sh*t in fact), unfortuantely I was working away from home when at the time it was done, I had to have the colour matching put right by my mate, so if you do have any remedial paint work to be done, it pays to have a long hard look at it, I suppose not rely on anybody who is not experienced in looking for colour missmatch like my wife.
  2. Just a note, a guy I know is a car paint specialist, he particularly specialises in Japanese performance cars, he told me that the body of the car and the plastic bumpers are sprayed in different factories on virtually ALL new cars, and if you look in bright light you can almost always see the miss match. Just thought I would let you know that so you know why you got that, to put it right the bumber would need re-spraying and cutting/grading into the main bodywork
  3. One of the amazing things about this dealer is, I did not buy the car from them, I got the car from Fish Brothers in Swindon, I took the car to the Wigan branch of Chorley Nissan because it was the nearest for me, and they provide a curtesy car for the duration of your own car's absence. So from the looks of it, I just got lucky it would appear it is the strength of the particular Dealer service team that would count, and worth looking in to if you are considering making an imminent purchase.
  4. I have just had to have my flwheel and clutch assembly replaced, at 4900 miles, needless to say I was less than pleased, the car was 10 months old when I purchased it, so maybe an number of low flying test pilots had give the clutch a hard time at the garage I bought it from before it came to me, however Nissan replaced the lot under warranty no messing, also Chorley Nissan (the Wigan branch) polished out a large scratch down the side of the car, which some kind individual left me, plus valeted the car inside and out , cleaned the alloys and blackened the tyres too, when I got it back it looked as if it was just new out of the showroom, oh yes the clutch is great now, it was smelling badly before, that is what I call exellent after care. I was wondering if this is a normal aftercare service from a Nissan main dealers or I am just sort of lucky in adversity lol Thoughts of Zen: ' When you travel from here to there, you find that there is no there there'.
  5. I purchased an 2011 model, 10 months old with 4000 miles on, my drive slopes downwards, every time the car was reversed off the drive the clutch issued this disgusting smell which comes straight into the interior. I asked about it on the first service and it was suggested that there may be clutch dust in the Bell housing. Since then the problem has deteriorated, culminating when the car was warm, trying to reverse off the drive the clutch totally started to slip and the car would not move and was shaking and stinking, it is currently in the Nissan dealership having a new fly wheel and clutch assembly fitted. Food for thought for those of you havng smell problems.
