Z club and 300zx club are not having a stand this year due to excessive entry fees. A few members are attending with other displays.

A deer is not classed as an 'animal' under the Road Traffic Act so no need to report it to police. Looks to me like you were very lucky. Most deer accidents I've seen have resulted in the car being written off.

Hi PaulK & Wendy, no it wasn't taken as criticism just a post to inform you that the stuff is out there available for club meets. I don't know who has the shelters etc but I bought six and they were divided up so that most areas of the country had access to one for local shows and several could be brought together for events such as Japfest

both the 350 club and the Z club have 3 event shelters each which are distributed throughout the country. I have one of the z club ones and usually take it to all the events I attend. I did not bring it this time as in the rules it stated that a risk assessment had to be submitted (no idea how to do that) and weights must be provided to hold it down. By this I assumed that we were on tarmac and I have no weights only pegs (nor as far as know does anyone else) nor do I have the capacity to carry them in my 280ZX. No one else brought one either but the are available to be shared round. Between us we should also have loads of banners, feather flags etc but only mine was displayed.

Many thanks to 370Ad for setting this one up from all the Z Club guys who attended. It's good to get all 3 clubs (with 300ZX) together to show off our cars, I'm sure we had the biggest display. Great to see some new blood organising an event. Keep it up!

I'm willing to stand corrected but I would think a trip to your local motor factors would sort this matter for very little £sd especially if you take hat picture with you.

You should be aware that the police offer you the speed awareness course, you don't opt to take it instead of a fine. If you pass the course this does not count as a conviction so you do not have to inform your insurance company unless they specifically ask if you have attended such a course in which case you must tell the truth otherwise you make a false declaration to obtain insurance. If Admiral ask this question look elsewhere.

The prices of 240/260Z's has shot up of late making them (IMO) quite expensive but no less very desirable. I recently sold my 260Z which was in need of lots of work and I also have an immaculate 280ZX. If buying a UK car the 280zx is the way to go with good ones starting at £6k+ You might find 260's starting at £10k+ but be prepared for welding no matter what you buy LHD imports are increasing in price rapidly too.

Are you thinking of just 350/370 members or are you considering opening it up to Z Club and 300zx members too. I am sure you'll get some of them wanting to join in. Post up an invitation on their sites if so. The more the better IMO.

If I answer one of those calls they usually start by "can I speak to mr arkwright please?" I say 'hold on I'll get him for you' put the phone down and leave them to it. It's surprising how long some of them wait.

What a very sad loss. I've known Martin for perhaps 8 -10 years and he's worked tirelessly all that time to unify all the Z Clubs. He will live on in our hearts as one of the greats. R.I.P. my friend.

well reading all the comments on here about a bloody car on a poxy tv programme is worse than watching Eastenders!
