    Snow foam

True. It makes a hell of a lot of foam and it covers the car like icing on a cake. One of my neighbours (who's a lot younger than me) reckoned he knew of a night club where they used to use foam like that over the dancers!

    Snow foam

Eventually got round to trying this out. Wish I had done it long ago! I bought a lance and foam liquid from Matt at i4detailing, with forum discount, last week. Matt was very helpful in helping identify which adaptor I needed for my pressure washer. Tried it out on the Qashqai yesterday (which was filthy because it does all the day-to-day jobs while the Z is tucked up in the garage). What a result! The dirt just seemed to fall off the car so that it hardly needed any washing afterwards. Then, after a good hose down, it almost dried itself without any streaking. I hardly needed the drying towel at all. Highly recommended.
  3. Is this the stuff you are talking bout? http://www.bilthamber-shop.com/?gclid=C ... 5Qod1Vt5Fw
  4. You certainly got fabulous weather for your day out. Enjoy!
  5. We have a loverly selection, which will be in the boot of the car on Sunday at Bluewater as requested by Jerry. You don't happen to have any auto gear knobs, do you? I came across these while surfing for something else and thought they might look quite good. http://www.autoaccessorystore.com/home_ ... ail&id=413 Other tiptronic owners might have a view, though.
  6. Can you re-charge the Nismo panel filter? I beleive the Nismo is just a cotton gause filter as the K&N is. So you should be able to clean and oil it. Google will reveal the true answer According to the nengun site, it is a paper filter. Not sure if that can be cleaned and oiled. Not much else on Google that's of much help.
  7. Can you re-charge the Nismo panel filter?
  8. Be careful. I got hold of one of these only to find that the JDM doesn't have the fitments to take it. My JDM has one. I'll take a pic tomorrow to show how it has been fitted if you'd like? No need - I sold the shelf on a few months ago. Mine's a base model. This must have been an option on the S or TS models.
  9. Interesting, but I'm not sure I understand how his leaving would help the current McLaren case with FIA.

    Name that kit

OT I know, but what are the wheels on the other Z parked beside yours?
  11. Of course BMW have a sense of humour - check out their prices!
  12. That's easy, and I'm surprised no-one else has already suggested it. You let somebody else drive your Z! Are you mad?

    Tyre Profiles...?

I think the general opinion is that it is best to stick to the same brand all round. I have certainly found that the move to Toyos all round has improved grip and handling enormously. I got the rears before the fronts because I couldn't get both of the sizes at the same supplier, and the car behaved a bit strangely during the changeover process when I had the new tyres on the back only at first. Eventually got the rears at Black Circles and the fronts at Camskill.
  14. Yes - Captain Pugwash comes to mind.......
  15. Hi all, I'm looking to replace my cordless telephone and answering machine. I want to get one which has an indicator light to tell you when a message has been left. The one I currently have requires you to go through a menu item to find this out and it's a real pest. I will also need 3 additional handsets to go with it. Any suggestions for something to meet these requirements?

    Fuel Flap Help

It might be worth heating the plastic up a bit with a hairdryer before you start to try and bend it.

    Zele 370Z

Is it just me, or does it have a bit of a Porsche look about the front end, especially those air intakes in the spoiler? Check out the fifth photo in the first link.
  22. It says it is compliant with all ISO OBD2 vehicles, so no reason for it not to work with the Z. Looks like a very neat and useful solution, but not cheap at £125, when you can get code readers for around £45.
