  1. Incase anyone is asking the choo means these ........ Do you stock them?
  2. £1400 - see OPs first post.
  3. The 450D is the camera I am thinking of getting. Unfortunately, I missed the Canon cashback offer, which ended in January. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get yours?
  4. The weather may have been calm at ground level, but it looks like there were quite strong winds blowing at the upper levels of the troposhere (or lower stratosphere), which is where these aircraft would be flying. The large trails are probably the result of these winds dispersing the vapour trails quite quickly. Aircraft only dump fuel in extreme emergencies. In fact, only certain types of aircraft have the facility to dump fuel, even in emergency situations. Rather than having to lighten the aircraft by dumping fuel, most modern passenger aircraft can land over-weight at an airport with a suitably long runway.
  5. I see that Halfords sell spray paint for vinyl and plastic, in a small range of colours including light grey and black.
  6. any one know what wheels these are? im planning on doing the black/gold look for the Zed and think these would work perectly Look like Volk GT-F Chilli Red has them on, but with black centres They look very Bet they cost a packet!
  7. I was in Halfrauds today and noticed that they are selling spray paint for interior vinyls and plastics. Comes in 3 or 4 colours including grey and black.
  8. Looks good. Are these replacement panels or stick-on?
  9. I think the JDM equivalent of the GT is the TS spec.
  10. If it's an import it will have a square rear number plate (unless the bumper has been swapped) and will not have the headlamp washers. Quite a lot of import owners on here, and none of us have had any significant issues as far as I am aware. The cars are bulit on the same assembly line in Japan. The only thing to watch out for is that the mileage is genuine (backed by a Bimta certificate) and that the importer has made the appropriate changes to lights etc. It's probably best to look for a car already imported and being sold on.
  11. I know there are a couple of teachers on here, and this is really meant for them. The rest of you may enjoy it as well. This is the message that the staff at a High School in Maroochydore, Queensland voted unanimously to record on their school telephone answering machine. This is the actual answering machine message for the school. This came about because they implemented a policy requiring students and parents to be responsible for their children's absences and missing homework. The school and teachers are too frequently being sued by parents who want their children's failing grades changed to passing grades - even though those children were absent 15-30 times during the semester and did not complete enough school work to pass their classes. The outgoing message: Hello! You have reached the automated answering service of your school. In order to assist you in connecting to the right member of staff, please listen to all of the options before making a selection: To lie about why your child is absent - Press 1 To make excuses for why your child did not do his/her work - Press 2 To complain about what we do - Press 3 To swear at staff members - Press 4 To ask why you didn't get information that was already enclosed in your newsletter and several flyers mailed to you - Press 5 If you want us to raise your child - Press 6 If you want to reach out and touch, slap or hit someone - Press 7 To request another teacher, for the third time this year - Press 8 To complain about bus transportation - Press 9 To complain about school lunches - Press 0 If you realize this is the real world and your child must be accountable and responsible for his/her own behaviour, class work or homework, and that it's not the teachers' fault for your child's lack of effort, hang up and have a nice day! If you want this in another language, move to a country that speaks it.

Sorry - of course they do. Shouldn't post after having a few drinks! Hope you get to the bottom of it soon though.

    Missfire?

I take it you have checked out all the HT leads in case of an intermittent break in one of them?
  14. Well decided to take the car Staying in the Marriott (fingers crossed the on site car park is okay). Will take some pics lol The hotel is meant to be okay, and I'm hoping to make use of the pool/sauna/etc. Woohoo, shopping here I come I think its an outside car park but am not 100% sure and about 5 mins in a taxi from the main shops, dont try walk back to the hotel at night tho as the ladies of the night gather around that area The car park is outside - mostly to the rear of the building and seems to be relatively safe. The leisure centre is usually busy so there is a lot of coming and going and it is well lit AFAIK. Agree with Jay about avoiding walking along there at night, just in case.
  15. I'm sorry it's gone, Tim, but I hope you'll not be a stranger. Your advice and comments have been very helpful and most welcome over the past three years. Best wishes, Jim
  16. +1 Glad to hear you are all safely ashore.
  17. I have had a spare key (from another car) sitting around for a while. I have hesitated about trying to programme it to the car using these guides in case it messes up my main key. Any risks attached to this procedure?
  18. They seem to like it. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews ... _370z.html
  19. It all depends on the paint manufacturer. I got a spray can mixed for me at a local auto paint suppliers who use a German supplier, and their name for WV2 was "Sparkling Silver". The match looks spot on, though.
  20. Alex is the only one that I am aware of up that would offer specialist knowledge of the Z. I do as much of my own servicing as I can, but use a small local garage that I know to do some jobs. He is not a specialist but takes pride in his work and looks after my car well.
