  1. You'll find a couple of very clear guides with illustrations in the guides section of the forum. Good luck with it! Oh, and to the forum. Plenty of help available on here for almost any issues with the Zed. PS why is yours LHD?
  2. to the forum. I like the "OCD about detailing" point in your signature. You're not alone there. Is that your wife in the avatar? Oh, and before anyone else says it - of the Zed.

    FS Polished Plenum

After having tried (unsuccessfully) to polish up the plenum on my car, I have decided that life is too short and I would rather buy one already polished. Is this offer still going ahead?
  4. Have a look in the guides section - you'll find a couple of links there that will give illustrated insructions on how to remove the centre panel.
  5. Wiki is written by anybody who thinks they know something. My my, how about 'pedantic' then When it comes to language I pride myself on my pedantry.

  13. Absolutely spot on, Chris. Could not have put it better myself.
  14. £210 Does the car have to be registed in the uk before 2003? Mine is an 03 but got brought into the country in 07 It seems to depend on who deals with it at DVLA. Mine was first registered in Japn in 03 and imported/SVAd in March 06 but just missed the cut-off so I pay the full £400. I think someone else has a similar car, but the DVLA seemed to accept it as having been registered abroad. It is really stupid - there's no good reason for it. The rise in duty was supposed to be designed to address climate change and CO2 issues, so there is absolutely no sense in distinguishing where a car was first registered in deciding how much duty is to be paid. Either those who framed the legislation are stupid/perverse or the numpties at DVLA are being very jobsworth in interpreting and applying the legislation. The long and the short of it is that I am paying £400 to drive a car manufactured in the same year in the very same factory in Japan where the UK cars were made, and their drivers are paying £210.
  15. Glad you're OK - the car will fix up fine. Make sure you get a medical check-up, because the effects of whiplash and other similar spinal injuries can be masked for some days before you realise you have suffered. You will only be entitled to compensation through the insurance if you have medical evidence.
  16. Thanks Mike. Just let us know when you need payment and delivery details.

    Snow foam

See here for details. If you click on the lance you will get all the info you need about the fittings. Karcher should be no problem. At the rate you use the foam solution it will last for ages. If you buy it with the lance you save another £2. http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/F ... ash_1.html
