  1. When I mentioned the auto/intermittent function they are one and the same in terms of what is on the stalk and what is on the page. The handbook page I attached above was from a 2011 version and the book still does not mention the rear wiper exists anyway, like you said . The windscreen sensor decides, if you have the setting on auto/intermittment switched on, when to kick the wipers on and the timing can be calibrated by Nissan, or possibly the sensor can play up so as not to work as you might expect and that would be a replacement job. Looking at your pic above, when you turn the dial with the graduations on (in the middle of the stalk) that detrmines the wiper frequencey when it is on the auto/intermittent setting - yes? To its right the single marking and the 3 options including OFF relate solely to the rear wiper operation. But has your car got the Sat Nav - seeing the note in (1) on the page I posted, as that does say the speed on auto/intermittent does not vary on those cars without it?
  2. Doesn't matter how many of the boxes you want ticked it rarely works out, but as you are finding you are not going to get a lot for your money in Surrey and especially if you want land for your animals. Maybe somewhere out in Hampshire/Sussex that offers an easy commute to Mr Two Bears place of work and Heathrow/Gatwick is a thought?
  3. Auto/intermittent are the same thing - the explanation how it works is in (1) on the handbook page I posted ^^^.
  4. You have got intermittent/auto wipers. But in that pic you have it set to the slowest speed so that is undoubtedly the reason for apparently not working, I would suggest. See page from the handbook here: 2011-Nissan-370Z handbook - wipers.pdf
  5. Well, as you Scots decided to stay with us Brits thought we would like to show we are one happy family Be good to have your input Neil - welcome aboard

Have you checked your insurance, and don't you have breakdown cover that would save on the £50 recovery truck fee?
  7. Good find Check out the bathrooms in the Z-tune category and

    lost keys

I believe so, apart from whether there is an issue registering the key with the car's alarm/immobiliser, but why not ring them to find out for sure? Also, check your insurance - you may find the cost is covered without affecting your NCB
  9. Last thing I did before I left the car with Nino was to remove the snooper - didn't want to, er, get caught out on my last drive And yes Nino knows it was an S4
  10. Where was your 370 first registered from new, as it does seem to have some unusual features given your posts to date? I ask that as I have seen and driven quite a few 370's and never come across one without the variable intermittent wiper speed as posted in the vid above. Perhaps some pics of your car, inside and out, might help us to help you. Edit: Kinda of wondering it was first registered in Germany by a UK armed forces person (the tyres) knowing there are differing specs for countries around the world
  11. Can you not count to 5 Adrian Nah, he is more into the Zillions

    lost keys

You have already made a post and in the correct section, so this new thread is locked http://www.350z-uk.c...1515-lost-keys/
  13. Oh no it doesn't, and you might wish to plan a holiday Will............

    lost keys

If it a UK supplied ZED you should go to a Nissan dealer with the VIN number/proof of car ownership and hopefully they will have the key details on the database. If it is an import I'm not sure what you can do, other than ask the importer if you know who they were and if they can help you.
  15. Might be worth asking this member - impressed with the wheel photoshopping he did http://www.350z-uk.c...d/#entry1357462 (see post No.1)

Tut, tut, not in 370 mode yet but moved it for you
  17. Just goes to show what a very special place this forum is for such friendships to form to help one another out. Congratulations guys
  18. Dealer back-up is a concern both from what I see on forums and I think it was the Auto Express survey - only one better than Seat right at the bottom! And also seems to be question marks over the DSG but be good to hear from experience on here.
  19. Golf (as an example) is as small as I would want to go and when the size the other way interferes with the driving pleasure. Oh, and I would take a lot of convincing to buy French again given the awful build quality I found on those cars 12+ years back.
  20. I'm a petrolhead - enough said? BMW are doing a £500 for five years servicing including consumables.
  21. Will @ BMW 1 series: Same thing was said about the 370's but I know many, including me, who warmed to its looks and bought one and a few subtle tweaks..... Have looked into the 3 star A series AMG 4matic, but specced up to what I would want takes it well over £40k and from what I hear about servicing/parts costs......
  22. Guys you are coming up with some great cars, but you are missing 3 of my essentials that I put down in my first post.
