    SOLD

You must soon be undercutting "We buy any car.com"
  2. Sorry, but no matter how well they might perform they look absolutely ghastly IMHO
  3. +1 even with you changing the seats, you may wish to revert it back at some stage when it comes time to move on. You will then have t he issue with it being a non GT car. For me I would hold out for a GT model. Have to agree with these sentiments and no doubt the dealer is offering you this model is because he will have sourced cheaply as the the non GT's seem to struggle in the market place, albeit what you don't get is frankly not worth worrying about and mods can mean an upgrade that effectively make it better than a GT model. But you do need to think about being the seller in due course...............
  4. Should get yourself a GTR Tim, or get a 370 - be great to see you straighlining the Welsh roads again with your infamous pyjama top
  5. Unless the offsets are crazy or you use quite wide spacers I would be doubtful they would clear the front Brembos or JDM calipers. I have been checking out tyres over the last couple of days and winter tyres are certainly available for the normal 18 and 19 inch wheels for the ZEDs Try here for example: http://www.mytyres.co.uk/Winter_Tyres.html edit: seeing you posted at the same time as me - you don't really want to look for "fat" tyres for snow and ice, better to be on the skinny side to cut through that stuff. Mostly though its the silica they use in the tread compounds that makes winter tyres work.
  6. Anyone interested in snow socks might be advised to check out the following thread of members using them: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=43502&hilit=snow+socks Some useful advice there as to the pros and cons. Best snow sock for the ZED is a garage IMO (if you are lucky enough to have one) prviding of course your ZED is not your only transport
  7. What about torque to weight? The R8 GT is higher in both power to weight and torque to weight. I wonder if it has anything to do with the launch control systems on these cars? That could make a big difference. The GTR with 4wd should clear the line quicker than the 458, but the R8? That should be clearing the line quicker than the GTR with its higher torque/weight and higher power to weight (only slightly higher on the former, but a good 20% higher on the latter). Alex's GTR just ate the R8 at Knockhill like it was standing still and that was on the pits straight, as I found out during my hot laps. On the corners the R8 was was way out of its depth - but put that down to the driving as opposed to the car
  8. Its just the way you wee Scots say it Hmmmmm........ perhaps I won't be so selective with the pics after all........ BTW - I have steered well clear of FB - there's enough on here of the social networking to read and especially now we have the forum groupie speed slut to look out for
  9. Finally got the HD clips together of Alex chasing down a fairly rapid Leon, with glrnet doing the timing. Spot the Caterham? outbraking itself for the hairpin and going into the gravel on the 3rd lap. ZMANALEX on track 7-9-2011 Had a great time there and thanks for the hot laps Alex - a real treat although I thought you could have got another half inch closer to that orange Caterham That was a truly memorable evening even if it cost me another handbag so I could excercise GUNS on the track. Just a few other pics that the handbag collector took. Helmet going on for one of 3 runs On my way to Duffas Dip (edit: opps...... its Duffus I'm told ......must be just the way they say it up there ) Andrew with whom I had some fun chasing And the master - not too blurred as he was on a slowing down lap on that side of the track for those wondering Waiting for the tranny fluid to cool for the next session Oh and thanks to Vik for helping to sort out our Hoon 'afters' and I haven't forgotten to post your pics - just deciding on which ones Hope I don't get a bill for the cone I flattened on the blind brow
  10. The side wall of the tyre has failed to cause the bump - (but usually egg shaped/sized), and is severely weakened. DO NOT DRIVE OTHER ON IT OTHER THAN VERY SLOWLY TO NEAREST TYRE FITER AS IT COULD SUDDENLY BURST WITH DIRE CONSEQUENCES. I would recommend you consider taking it off the car and using your spacesaver, for yours and other road users sakes, but again only to get you to the tyre fitter. As said by others above, if the other tyre on that axle is in good shape with lots of tread then the replacement should be exactly the same type of tyre. If not and noting your budget is stretched then a pair of Falken 452's is not a bad choice (IMHO Ekona ) for normal road use. Run-flats are not normally used on 350's, but I expect someone will say they have them.
  11. There's quite a lot serving the Chelsea area too
  12. pm sent - if the pics do not come out on that something wrong with your computer/virus settings I would guess
  13. Had no issues with o2 (following Pipex that went rubbish) and a decent discount if your moby is with them
  14. +1 ...... me being young at heart And having just done some hot laps at Knockhill with ZMANALEX in his R35GTR (paddle-shift) I am sure his speed has increased with age A little sample (c/o Will350Z) :
  15. OK - I asked Toby what his understanding was and it seems the auto 370's are Band L but the manuals cross the 255 threshold and are in Band M. Both coupe models are in Band L though See this link about the roadsters: http://www.nissan.co.uk/GB/en/environme ... andLM.html
  16. Can't see any white line between the bays (if marked out).........so who was 'transgressing'.
  17. Welcome to the forum - nice ZED there and edited your post so the pics appear
  18. Now owned by rabster on here viewtopic.php?f=3&t=51167&p=752965#p752965
  19. Thread locked as seats sold
  20. Welcome to the forum and 370 ownership. Not too far then from Chris`I (admin) on here who is Basingstoke way and has a (quartz) Black Edition
  21. Guess for you getting older is worse than pulling teeth But we know how you can party : so enjoy
  22. I'm banned from driving June round there again
  23. Can understand you might not be arsed with the hassle over an extra £15, but you are not alone due to the incompetence of the DVLA call centres: http://www.parkers.co.uk/News/Road-tax/ ... tax-rules/ All 370's are in Class L - that is what mine is, and Class L is the tax I pay: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/sum ... 770&page=3 Enough ammo with the links supplied if you don't like being ripped off So up to you
  24. I would challenge that: http://www.nissan.co.uk/GB/en/environme ... andLM.html Tax Bands.pdf
