  1. And so can the 313 HR engine in the 350's Best thing would be to fill up with super before you get to half empty, rather than waiting longer and then when you open the flap read the message
  2. It does all boil down to the individual dealer/group. Same with service work. Local Nissan garage to me does not have the best reputation (part of large group with various franchises and far too big with a high staff turnover) although to be fair I managed to get a good rappore with one of their better technicans during 2005-2009 who I could see had a real interest with my 2 previous 350's (both in warranty) and I always made sure he would be doing the work when the ZEDs were booked as he guarded them as if though they were his own. And he was suitably thanked as I never found any problems post servicing But when it came to getting the 370 the Service Manager stepped in and said they couln't service 370s....and I had to look elsewhere So off to Motorline Tunbridge Wells (HPC dealer) and all I can say is the service and customer care has been very good and professional - its not cheap (compared to the independents) but they seem to go out of their way to make the relationship work and its always nice to have a 370 loan car to use whilst mine is with them. Have twice been given the keys of later 370's to take away and experience was a nice bonus - undoubtedly to hopefully make a sale at some point, and if I do I would not hesitate to go there if another Nissan is on the Ebized list of new cars, rather than the local dealer - so their long term loss.
  3. Goes quite well with the other cosmetic changes The mirrors almost seem as though they now need something similar done ? But that pig with a burger on its head is also eyecatching in not quite the same way
  4. Enjoy the upgrade and look forward to hearing how you find the 370 in comparison to the 350
  5. hmmmmm ........a 54 plate with a facelift bumper and HR bonnet - me wonder if that's had a frontal
  6. Here are the 2009 specs 370z_specifications.pdf
  7. If it is the basic ZED jack you after (see pic) to fit the cut-out in foam - that's where I got mine. Don't forget to get the 'brace' either in that case

    new Nissan Z car

Financial crunch and world obsession with co2 is why the 370 never sold in the same numbers - both issues that were not factors in 2002/3 when the 350 was let loose onto the market. Nissan are no doubt closely watching the worlds response to the Toyota/Subaru offerings. Enthusiast reaction like ours counts for relatively little in the scheme of things and we can all see engine development is moving towards smaller units with good outputs and economy - at least that is far better IMO than these hybrid nonsences with no strong current signs that alternative fuels are being developed or allowed for political reasons we can all see through....... So I would hope Nissan are addressing issues we have known for a long time and the need to: Shed weight. Introduce engines that for everyday use reduce the use of fossil fuels and are lung friendly but have sporting modes when wanted. They don't pander to the need for more than 2 seats to help keep the overall size down. It is a sports car not a passenger wagon. And dare I say it - be bold and add a bit more colour to the range rather than umpteen shades of grey.
