  1. Hmmmmm...... no doubting which one is Will standing head and shoulders above the other two but of the other two the more well-fed on the left I guess is Graham and the shifty looking one on the right must be Dave Now what are the roads like out there Jim
  2. Link to a white wrapped 350, in case you have not seen it: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=55859
  3. Just a word of caution. From experience, you will find the OEM hub stud length protrusions will not fit in the recesses between the wheel holes so that the front wheels will not sit squarely on the spacer Need at least 23mm for it work with the OEM studs. No doubt why CS used 25mm at the front and I now find 25mm all round works very well. But shorter studs will get round the issue, although you need to keep the OEM stud's if you did not keep the spacers on as there is unlikely to be enough thread length when putting the wheels back on.
  4. Takes some real balls to throw the car sideways and almost rearwards over the brow @ 5.40
  5. Was thinking of moving this post to: viewforum.php?f=6 But then the penny dropped that I would be placed top of your list
  6. I read somewhere recently that insurance companies in the US have been hit big time by flooded write-offs coming back on the market, presumably with temp fixes, only to find as time passes the water damage manifests itself into major repair work I guess. Maybe there is an agreement amongst insurers here that they will only sell such cars to breakers for that purpose?
  7. Now I understand that avatar of yours
  8. I think this just + sex all the way - but hey ho, if you haven't got a 370
  9. I see eSure and Direct Line comprehensive insurance covers vandalism without affecting the NCB. Maybe others?
  10. +1 and it has a Viscous Limited Slip Differential. Would love to see a photo of the alloy space saver uou have - you are second to mention one of these and I had understood spacesavers were always steel (as with the 350's).
  11. Bloody shame it turned into a dry face But well done to Mark Webber Lewis and Jenson both complaining about lack of pace but both happy with handling. Obvious Mercedes team were not on the pace either and Force India were struggling. Common denominator is the engine surely, notwithstanding any suggestion from teams/drivers that it might be - I guess contracts forbid any public critcism . Certainly seems as though the Renault engined teams have the upper hand and how long before Grosjean takes a win - certainly one of the more exciting drivers at the moment.
  12. I saved my sim contacts to the old phone and then with using an adaptor in that old phone (free from o2) transferred the contacts onto the S3's micro-sim, if that helps.
  13. Don't worry Ian - potato man has playing with his................profile

Serious shortage of front bumpers there - and sounds like their wheel stock is being depleted too

  19. Think it might get a bit warm making it last 2 hours
  20. Result And even if you had to pay for it - just think of the premium you end up paying through no fault of yours due to others careless driving From our quick meet at Wales - "old" is what you were looking at, not what you see in the mirror, which looked very young to me

  23. Welcome - to yet another ZED owner in Chesterfield - must be the town in the UK with the most ZED owners, %wise of the total population
  24. Following on from that, those of us that have pushed the limits of the 350/370 handling/grip levels over the years know it is absolutely essential to use 4 matching tyres and without extremes of wear or tyre pressures front to rear and to make sure you have regular 4-wheel alignments. Cannot stress how important that is, not only to get the best from the ZEDs but also to ensure you remain safe in less than 100% ideal road conditions. And yes, always opt for the best tyres your budget allows. And that dosen't mean 2 Michelin Pilot Sports at one end of the car and 2 Bridgestone 50A's at the other end - their construction and compounds are all different and that can affect things significantly. Yes, some have found tyre mixing can work for them and indeed the RE40's are great for track work........ IN THE DRY, and no doubt helped to get the 350's a great reputation in the early days as they made even average drivers look pretty good at power sliding. But seriously, the one area you do not skimp on to fully enjoy the ZEDS capabilities is the tyre department, trust me..... after more than 6 years of ZED ownership and someone who has enjoyed the odd spirited drive up and down the country
