  1. Moved from 370 section, unless you have changed your car recently
  2. You know what is best Will Shame you can't have the rear wing on yours though
  3. Classic Now if I were to use one of my wife's handbags and mark it, I would be hung drawn and quartered - but that's different of course

I preferred 40's also on my old car (S2000) anything bigger was too squishy and squirmy and anything lower would have killed my back and teeth, but felt awesome on track. Why, what's your concern about upsetting the handling or is it the ride that you're referring too ?? Having comapred the two sizes the actual rolling diameter with 35's is over an inch less than the 40's. Now Nissan could have easily opted for the 35's on the front (like the 350's) but decided the 40's were necessary. So (1) I am not about to argue with their greater expertise on set-up and (2) I tried the 370 with 19" rims and 35 profiles and to me it was less predictable on the corners - nothing noticable in a straight line, but 40's remain my choice. Of course if other changes were being contemplated to the suspension/ride height/wheel size that may be a different matter....... Ride was little different but aestheticlly the 35's were less pleasing with the wide gap around the arch. Now if you have experienced a 370 on 35 front profiles please do share your findings
  5. I would suggest you use a good independent who know the 350's - chances are the Nissan dealer will not have any techies who know their way around the ZEDs. I am sure those more local to you in Bristol can point in the right direction but the nearest Trader on here I am aware of and who I am sure could sort this for you is Jez at Horsham Developments who are at Chievely in Berkshire. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=home
  6. With life getting back to normality after the weeks leading up the weekend, now sorted out the pics I took although mostly in a bit of a rush. Anyways: Friday convoy to Wales via the Elan Valley: Although the schedule did not allow many stops - just thought I would add these in taken on a recce a couple of weeks beforehand - the first time I have seen all three dams we passed flowing - it really was wet then! Caban Coch Pen-y-Garreg Criag-Goch Fortunately the Afon Valley was dry though who's burning rubber... Saturday Drive: The Old Barn Cafe crew at Lake Vyrnwy looked after us very well and even arranged the cover, but Chris (Atkin666) and Zoe braved the elements The car park at Lake Vyrnwy has certainly never been so full of ZEDs .......and nor for that matter the Ponderosa Car park at our next stop on the Horseshoe Pass No mistaking this one I think this was one or our group on its own Hmmm what these 3 plotting now.... Sunday Drive: Only pics I managed to take on Sunday were as the following two groups arrived at Bala Lastly, but by no means least and most importantly the raffle prize barge, bearing the support for the Hope House Children's Hospices. Just wish say to everyone who helped with the preparation before and during the weekend and all those who came along and made it so enjoyable and you are all . THANK YOU
  7. It's an RSR. I know it says that on the back, but i'm pretty sure there is no such official car? Isn't it a tuner or homemade job? Well it is official and, are you sitting down: "The new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR will be delivered to customer squads around the world from January 2012. The selling price is 498,000 Euro plus value added tax of the respective countries." http://www.porsche.com/uk/motorsportand ... ndconcept/
  8. Great pics, and a great result for Mark
  9. Thank you for those kind words Andy and really appreciate your regular support of the Wales drives. Looking forward to seing the vids
  10. The answer is almost certainly here - we have seen any number of times owners and garages not following the correct procedure or not realising there are two nipples on the calipers.
  11. What I would do on your limited timesale and from previous experience, but no doubt some locals can offer better http://goo.gl/maps/n5zr You will be pushed though to get through just that 520 odd miles in two days without knackering yourself. Takes in the A831 through The Trossachs, a great test for ZED and driver Look out for the Gleaner petrol stations for the higher octane petrol (like the one at Kyle of Lochalsh just past the Eilean Dolan where I suggest you brim up before the next leg and should get round to the Inverness area for another fill) and check their whereabouts before you leave as otherwise you might end up having to get by on 95.
  12. yep - you will only ned a small amount and if you don't use it for anything else this will do the job many times over: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165705
  13. both and 85-90lbs ft (same as wheel nuts)
  14. It's for aesthetics mate, makes the wheels sit nicer in the arches. I've been dithering over getting some spacers for a while now.... I assume they don't alter the ride or affect the insurance? What are the usual dimensions people go for on the 370Z? 25mm all round
  15. Looks more doable, if you are on a diet The route from the Ullapool area to Edinburgh is almost the same as we usd in 2011 - but which took in a visit to Knockhill. Nice drive through the Cairngorms http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v ... &encType=1 But I think you are missing out by not going up and over Applecross and you really to use the A832 between Kinlochewe and Achnasheen
  16. Second map looks the same as the first to me at a quick glance
  17. viewtopic.php?f=182&t=62233 Sorted out my problem that turned out to be added spacers
  18. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=51157 and the pics viewtopic.php?f=34&t=53597&hilit=2011+hoon+pictures
  19. Certainly agree with comments above - you won't have a chance to enjoy the scenery or indeed some really good driving roads and fabulous eateries. On my trips I was advised that unless you really had to visit J of G its not worth it and found the roads that cut down from the NW corner towards Inverness a much better experience an that would cut out a fair chunk of mileage around the NE corner. But you really should add in the Applecross Pass and Inn, the Lochinver Pie shop and Cocoa Mountain at Durness
  20. ....think how he feels that he is sharing the day with the forum jester But you both deserve a great day -I expect one enjoying getting and the other playing his favourite music .......and not fogettng the rest sharing their birthdays to day
  21. See now you know what i put it on here. From the comments elsewhere i think it may be a TVR T440R but its not 100% yet. Does look the best contender Just had a look at the Martin Brundle track test but the vid is badly 'squashed' to fully verify
  22. Have a great day Mart - hopefully away from work?
