  1. Skinflint Come on you buy some great wheels, so get some great nuts to really set them off - you know its the only way
  2. The 370 white is much creamier looking that the artic/glacier whites
  3. Very grateful thanks Ekona and Ricey - that was a close shave
  4. I'm not aware you can with UK spec ZEDs (including the 370's) - yes the universal manuals say that but in practice on this side of the pond - no
  5. 276/296 (DE) engines good for safe power increases to around 420bhp on standard internals 313 (HR) engine certainly good for 500bhp but we even hear that up to 600 bhp on standard internals is on
  6. Thread locked as wheels sold
  7. Looking at the recess sizes (which seem similar to LMGT4's) Jay, it looks doubtfull. And remember the 370 nuts have the flanges so that if the seating area is any way convex towards the outer edges that would prevent their use, aside from the fact the 21mm OEM nuts and necessary socket look as though they might be a very tight fit. That aside, with such good looking wheels would it not be better to get better looking (and slimmer) nuts than the OEM ones anyway
  8. although I agree with Sarnie's pragmatic approach if a potential buyer is, shall we say, more particular DVLA might pick up on it

  10. Here is a pic of the OEM version with the fittings: tonneau + fittings.pdf Two of "L" brackets are held in place by the 'ring's under the strut brace, and two fix to the boot floor (holes are pre-drilled) and just involves two Stanley knife slits through the carpet. The 4 knurled nuts fix the cover to the brackets (on the boot side) so that the front you see in the pic faces the passenger area with no sign of the fixings.
  11. http://www.google.com/doodles/hurdles-2012 16.5 so far - must try harder
  12. Really sorry to see this happen but then life has priorities meaning head has to rule heart. Having seen your car several times and enjoyed drives with you, someone is going to one of the best looking and cared-for ZEDs to come on the market. Period. Edit - taken from another thread to show how it has been looked after:
  13. It might look pretty good (I presume the 'rear' engine is just fake?) but just think what real cars you could get for the money
  14. Expect she has the ring tone off and its set on vibrate
  15. Sorry to see you will be Zedless...................... perhaps for a while Good to have had you aon here and hope you stick around I know how you feel as my 370 is coming up for its 3rd birthday, but with no better or affordable alternative out there GUNS might be with me for a while yet, especially as the reliability and fun factor have been faultless.
  16. I like this guy Down to earth - says things as he thinks them! Seems like a good guy all round, gracious unlike a certain tennis player. +1 and talks sense and good to hear he has no time for the celebrity culture that too many are currently obsessed with and aspire to but of whom 99.999% are just dreamers..........
  17. Your new thread has been added here
  18. A pic I got at Goodwood on the Friday and my excuse of a video taken on the Sunday - the noise was to die for But if you really want to see (and hear ) more then check this vid out: http://motor-sport.tv/video/motor-sport ... otorsport/ The downshifts are something else And Auto Express reckons its yours for £40k - I've put my name down http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/renault/59 ... cost-ps40k
  19. I thought I saw those fitted on Saturday (without the hoses) and was going to ask but then I think my eyes got distracted by the hundred and one other things under your bonnet
  20. And so can the 313 HR engine in the 350's Best thing would be to fill up with super before you get to half empty, rather than waiting longer and then when you open the flap read the message
  21. It does all boil down to the individual dealer/group. Same with service work. Local Nissan garage to me does not have the best reputation (part of large group with various franchises and far too big with a high staff turnover) although to be fair I managed to get a good rappore with one of their better technicans during 2005-2009 who I could see had a real interest with my 2 previous 350's (both in warranty) and I always made sure he would be doing the work when the ZEDs were booked as he guarded them as if though they were his own. And he was suitably thanked as I never found any problems post servicing But when it came to getting the 370 the Service Manager stepped in and said they couln't service 370s....and I had to look elsewhere So off to Motorline Tunbridge Wells (HPC dealer) and all I can say is the service and customer care has been very good and professional - its not cheap (compared to the independents) but they seem to go out of their way to make the relationship work and its always nice to have a 370 loan car to use whilst mine is with them. Have twice been given the keys of later 370's to take away and experience was a nice bonus - undoubtedly to hopefully make a sale at some point, and if I do I would not hesitate to go there if another Nissan is on the Ebized list of new cars, rather than the local dealer - so their long term loss.
  22. Goes quite well with the other cosmetic changes The mirrors almost seem as though they now need something similar done ? But that pig with a burger on its head is also eyecatching in not quite the same way
  23. Enjoy the upgrade and look forward to hearing how you find the 370 in comparison to the 350
