  1. i wish i was more local otherwise i'd be round with the beer
  2. lol yes, i'm fairly certain its been on here already. i remember lots of talk about special needs and morons, and wtf etc etc. still a blinding read
  3. i'm really chuffed for you. you and stan are my pathfinders. your setting the way for me. me and lucy aren't their yet, but we'd like kids at some point, but i'm still at the "yes they are nice but; holey crap being a dad is a bit scary". so i'll see how you guys get on, and see if it helps put my nerves at rest.
  4. lol snagging shouldn't be an issue, only if you use to much pressure when drilling. you need hardly any and just leave the drill bit to do all the work with the cutting. and like you said work up through the drill bits.
  5. if your drilling into meta, also centre punch where you want to drill, means you get it spot on and no drill slipping
  6. or these guys were second best on price for the vredesteins http://www.tyremen.co.uk/
  7. camskills is your best bet for them
  8. reo50s are good.mixing front and back isn't bad to bad, but ideally you want same all round. if cost is an issue i highly reccomend the vredestein ultrac sessantas. they aren't the cheapest but come out about the same as the toyos. cost more than falkens but are outstanding tyres for grip.
  9. its lucky i don't teach electronics.... oh....wait... i do lol i'm one of those people that has to have the multimeter in hand. i know what i'm looking for, but sometimes have to twiddle the knobs a few times to find it. hence the forgotten and uncertain answers. i generally only play around with 9v supplies and designing PCB layouts and testing circuits.
  10. i had a custom job from hayward and scott on my MR2 and that was a fantastic piece of kit.
  11. sounds like a good day. i'm still waiting to clean mine after the 600 mile si put on mine as she's proper filthy now
  12. i see fitted kit, i instantly think finished job nothing said otherwise?
  13. thats fair enough, its just you mentioned px, so those interested in selling and who wanted to px might be worth saying what you had. doesn't need to be full spec, i'm not selling, but was just being nosey wanted to know what you'd come from car wise.
  14. nice looking skirts, well fitted. but i don't know if its the camera or the light, but the colour match is a bit off.
  15. for me i'm more interested on where its been serviced. i don't trust nissan garages as they are only good with micras etc, they don't tend to know the zed that well, and the ones that do are few and far between. i use TEAM AFM to do all work and servicing on my car, they tune and prep BTCC touring cars and other sports vehicles and know their vehicles inside out. i think those stamps in my log book are far more valuable than the nissan ones. at the end of the day, servicing isn't a major job. if you know your way round a car you can't go far wrong. as long as its been serviced and had correct consumables used thats all i'd want to see.
  16. there you go, i knew somone would back me up
  17. get your multimeter out and check the current across the terminals. do it with engine off and with engine running. trying to remember the correct numbers, but if the battery is draining you should be able to see the numbers drop. i think it should be charging at about 14 volts or it could be amps like i said can't remember
  18. lights and gauges look to be suffering from an incosistant fluctating current. could be a low battery, or a poor earth connection.
  19. so what are you trying to sell?
  20. cheers guys glad to see i've created something useful
  21. done can the mods delete all posts except the original post. just keeps it tidy, and will hopefully mean we won't miss putting someone on the main list.
  22. services are every 9000 miles or 12 months depending. p1 p2 p1 p3 p1 p2 p1 p3 etc etc i get mine serviced by non nissan garage, but thats because they do a better a job
