  1. Anyone that thought their car was worth say, £15k in August, and now thinks its worth £18k is deluded...... i bought mine for £15k over a year ago, i don't think mine is worth £18k but i definatly reckon i could sell it for more than i bought it for. but agree i doubt i'd get near the £18k mark. i'd say possibly in between at about £16k ish as a start price easily. only got 20,000 on the clock. No you wouldn't. You would struggle to get £14k for it. reallly? i just went on autotrader and found at least 10 cars over the first 2 pages of refined search on a 56 plate that were over £16k the rest of the other cars were 07-09 all above £17k looking on autotrader i think i'd sell easily if i put it straight on at £15k. its all hypothetical as i have no intent on selling.
  2. thats very easy to reduce the cost of this, don't go to nissan, they are the biggest bunch of ripoff artists, and they aren't the best at diagnosing problems as their technicians aren't that familiar with the car. whats your location, i'm sure there is a better performance garage nearby. also Zmanalex or R35LEE can get you parts cheaper as well.
  3. snow looks set to hit suffolk on wednesday, just as i go back to work i'm hoping for tuesday night so i don't have to go back on wednesday, but it looks like i'll have to do wednesday, then we'll see if the county grinds to a halt again don't know how much we'll get. hoping for loads

  5. i've done 2000 so far on my sessantas and they still look like new
  6. i don't think its seasonal, thats just what the market has done, the only 350z that changes in price is the roadster which is usually less in the winter as people don't like to buy ragtops in the wet and cold. the only reason the prices were less last year was because of a recession and according to the owe wise and wonderful mr brown we are apparently out of it now. i think the only direction the prices are going is up, but thats imho.
  7. i did suffolk to york area before christmas, was around trip of about 500 miles got home with 50 miles on the DTE its doable but i only managed it due to the really bad weather and so i cruised up at 70 the whole way, witha few a14 stretches at 60 due to traffic.
  8. off too france in the summer for 14 days, definatly a stint in normandy as i've never been and probably the dordoin (don't know the spelling )

  11. clear coat will help with durability, and items that small you can bake them in the oven to speed up the process.
  12. i think i said it before but i am 10 days out, talk about a bollox situation i hope they follow their original plan which is all cars after 2001 which would bring the rest of you in line with me
  13. i love your photography skills. great car as well
  14. i'm with O2, been the best broadband supplier i've had to date. my area hasn't been unbundled yet so i only get their home edition but its still been good. and their modem routers have been the easiest and most reliable as well. orange was crap and so was their routers.
  15. because the standard wheel setup on the zed is a funny size. most manufacturers don't make that many in that size; as only a few manufacturers use it. where as tyre sizes that are more common have more tyres made for them in a vaster quantity, hence a cheaper price.
  16. i've been looking at the side profile and what i've noticed is that the side of the spoiler is a mirror image of the rear lights, as if they were a relection of each other. very sutle, but quite clever i thought. but i understand what you mean. the rear view is by far the best. and your wheels i love them, and would love to have them but i just cant afford them do you do monthly installments
  17. price is the biggest difference. if you have the cash gets the berks, if you haven't the kinetix are just as good i have kinetix, and am very happy with them
  18. thanks, but i like the rays, they are light weight and when i refurb them in satin black and a red lip they should finish it off. if i'm honest and i had the spare cash i would love new bigger wheels but i can't justify the extra expense this year. so i'm doing the refurb and better tyre route. (probably one of the few parts that will be performance over looks. ) getting a remap in the next 6 weeks hopefully, just waiting on some parts and then i'll ring and book with abbey m/s
  19. it would be nice, but can't justify the cost at the moment. and i'm happy the way it is. i love what nrez did with his and it does look good. but i'm happy for now. maybe a future project done the road. thanks thats what i'm aiming for with the look of my car. i want it to be different but not to far off the scale. kind of a uprated OEM
  20. yep it looks like the swift auto retractable unit. i'm in communication with the bloke at the moment about getting one shipped over. i'm impressed how that one retracts into the grille. i plan to mount mine underneath as to do that i can't see how you'd do it without having to cut the mesh, and it would start to look messy once you do that.
