well done on the job, but must admit i'm not a fan of the wrinkle finish. i like the gloss smooth look. didin't know ferrari used a wrinkle look, bu then i've never been close enough to a ferrari engine bay to see look forward to seeing them on the car. sounds silly but i don't remember seeing the cam covers in my engine bay, been so long since i've been in there. anyone fancy sticking up a pic of then engine bay with big arrows on pointing them out

Lots of moisture in the air, cold temp makes it freeze. Possible due to you getting into the car wet, or with snow o your feet. It evaporates while you drive and then the condensation freezes while your parked up. The air con on with the temp on hot will work like a de humidifier. And the recycle air function is the button on the middle of he central dial. Either air brought in from outside, or air recirculated from inside. The little picture on the button should explain it for you.

cheers nix, and one of my biggest bug bears is the lack of knowledge when it comes to driving in snow in this country. so many people don't know what to do. essex had 190 snow related accidents on the road over 24 hours, its just not neccassary if people actually knew how to drive. i've been tailgated in heavy snowfall with my tail going all over the place. i've watched every car in front of me breaking to go onto a snow/ice covered roundabout and watched everyone of them slide onto the roadabout out of control. so few poeple know how to use their gears, or how to pull away. 3 different cars last week on my road when the snow was first down, sat in their cars polishing the ice with their tyres while sat in first gear revving the nuts off their car.

very nice. i'm looking for a car charger for my iphone at the moment. my wife gave me her car charger from her ipod, but when i connect it up it says something about it not being an offical ipod piece of equipment and remove it now to avoid any damage. is this a BS excuse to make you go out and buy official apple stuff or is this actually true? does your iphone say anything when connecting to the new charger you have?

i think the point with DMF's is that they can vary from car to car with life expectancy, and as its such a big job to change the clutch it makes sense to do the fly at the same time. youyr DMF could last 10,000 it could last 30k. and with a single mass fly there is less to go wrong so it shouldn't need changing again. also with the new excedy clutch, if its fitted properly and you don't drive like a numpty; should last the life of your ownership easily. it will save you the £300-£400 of having the fly swapped out at a later date. if your clutch and gearbox has taken the shagging that you think it has, then all the parts linked with that area i'd want out at the same time and replace with fresh to gaurentee longevity and put the car back into good working order.

the stuff that goes in your water bottles is part of the PIAA range and you can get it from envy. once my rainex runs out i will be upgrading to the PIAA windscreen claner, windscreen protector and washer bottle addative. i already use the PIAA wipers which are awesome. just need the rest to complete the set.

i'm half northerner, my dads a yorkshire man, and his parents live up that way, used to spend my summers on their farm. mums an aussie, i have dual nationality thanks to her. and i was born in yeovil sommerset. moved all over the country, never settled that long in a place. i suppose it make sme a southerner.

i use a pioneer system that fits in the cubby and its far superior to anything i've yet to see in a zed. costs more, but definatly worth it.

spoke to my folks earlier and they had 1 foot dropped last night and it was snowing then. they said the A64 was trecarous and people were abandoning their cars and police were advising against any kind of travelling unless absolutely necessary. if its clear on tuesday i'll try then, but i fear ti aint going ot happen.

its been called off now, looks like i'm not going. might see what its like on tuesday.

whats it like up there now, as i'm planning to attempt it tomorrow to malton. i reckon the main roads on the route up are fine its just gonna be what its like when i get up there.
