  1. kinetix, berks envy's own brand. are all racing cats all with similiar CPI's
  2. grown up on arable farms since i was a kid, so kind of seen rabbits as vermin. but the rabbiting i do now is generally eaten. dont do it often as i used to, but try and get a few days in come harvest time. sorry to those rabbit lovers who don't eat rabbit.
  3. in the new year, once my carbon plenum arrives i'll book in for a remap
  4. i'm runnig the kinetix high flow cats and think they are good. not had nay problems as such. my cars just thrown a CEL not had time to read it yet but fairly certain i need some anti foulers to correct this which isn't a problem. they were easy to fit. and run well with my invidia true dual exhaust. there were some HFC's up for sale from GT4 zed and someone else. might be worth checking the sales section first. i got mine with 600 miles on them for about £200
  5. if they aren't painted you can get them painted and blended in.
  6. ummmmmmmmm rabbit stew. love going rabbiting in the summer on the farm. get a good few to eat, and i take the rest to the butchers. silly wabbbit!!!!
  7. good effort, not easy to work with. i did my rear strut and b pillars a while back and its a pig to work with.
  8. i think they are worth it. as i have clipped the corner of mine. and they aren't cheap fixes. personally if they have already been fitted i wouldn't complain about it. i will be fitting ones that mount behind the bumper and aren't visible but its on my long list of things to do and its somewhere near the bottom.
  9. PIAA have a nice selection of liquids which i will be upgrading to when my rainex runs out. check out envy's website as they have it, although when i tried to get hold of it they were having peoblems getting stock, but this was ages ago so i'm sure they'll have it in now.
  10. think i might go down the ultimax disc route and ds2500 pads then. either way CS will get my business
  11. we left our car at a carparl on the outskirts of ipswich while we had a lift to london with my father in law. car park was covered in compacted ice/snow. got back this evening and it was like glass, the reflections coming off it is impressive. we had no grip in our shoes, but managed to get the car out fine. there was a girl in a smart raodster polishing it up else where though i dread to think what its going to get like with more rain and freezing temps, i don't think the zed will come back out for a bit. apart from maybe a clean.
  12. the front lip is saveable, even if you get a replacement, cost about £60 to repair, then you can sell it and someoen could have it sprayed to match the car, you get some cash back and someone else gets a front lip.
  13. was it the yellow stuff, red stuff etc from EBC, only ask as they were my original choice, for yellow stuff, my other was the ferodo ds2500. deciding factor at the moment was price. but not due to change for a while so got plenty of time to research and plan for it.
  14. i'm interested to know which competitions brake pads and discs you tried out in comparision
  15. well at the moment your driving ability is being measured on your ability to write. so i'm screwed
  16. PIAA's are the way forward. most impressive blades i've ever used, and when used with the other solutions or rainex make for an unbeatable combo.
  17. if i get in i'm asking for my car to be fitted with a sarnie detection unit, and a spam cannon mounted on the front
  18. the standard ECU is very capable according to abbey m/s and reflashing that shows extremely good gains. for very little effort and cost. Abbey or RS tuning seem to know the most about the standard ECU and would probalbly be your best and first port of call for info. some have used the Haltech but its a lot of cash before you even start playing with it, i can see it being a useful addition for F/I route but not for N/A unless you get one cheap. as for the Emanage ultimate, had some small dealings with it when i had an Mr2 roadster, but not sure how well it would work with the Zed. as said before the Yanks have tried most things and might give you a good idea of where to go. might help if you explain the route you want to take and what your trying to achieve, and then you might get the info your looking for.
  19. I get your point about cost, but I think it would be worth it. And if few people were doing it, would it not mean less drivers on the road. And would he extra cost not come back as savings later on, like cheaper premiums due to less accidents. Less accidents and holdups on motorways. That reminds me, adding to my list mandatory motorway training, to reduce middle lane riders, and improve motorway ettitquette.
  20. are they the 5zigens mark? if so i was never a fan, but in black they look very appealing
  21. what the hell are they using for tyres out there?
  22. i know its not the colour your looking for but this is on the site viewtopic.php?f=56&t=24515&start=45 personally i think the azures are a bit common, if you want exclusivity within the zed community red is the way to go, very rarely see them about
  23. sorry to hear that fiddy, hope your able to get the zed out soon
