  1. i've seen some done from akari design (husky) and they were very good; he is a perfectionist
  2. sorry to hear that liam, go through the insurance, its what its there for.
  3. you'd need the seat rails, an dpossibly need to custom build brackets to allow you to match up the fixing points; and thats if the widths will fit.
  4. i have blankets and food and drink in the boot keep forgetting to put the shovel in though

  10. lift bumper up and push washer down. should pop back, mine used to catch on the top lip of the opening.
  11. go to your zede lift the bonnet and measure the gap between the plenum and the strut bar, thats the basic gap you have to play with. next get a big ball of bluetack stick it on top of the middle of the strut. now shut the bonnet, it should crush the bluetack ball. lift the bonnet and, measure the ball. this is the distance between the strut and the bonnet and tells you how much bigger you can make you spacers. adding the gap space and the bluetack size togehter will give you the absolute max that you can make the spacers, i personally would make it a bit smaller to stop any rubbing. from memory i would say 10mm should be fine.

  16. uk has the big long number plate and the instruction manuals are in english. if it is uk and it has cruisecontrol and the bose sound system with the sub behind the drivers seat, then its a GT, there are other things as well but off the top of my head they were the first two that came to mind
  17. question one is.. i think the button you are refering too is the blanking plate for the switch that would lower the soft top if you had a convertible. question 2... is your car UK or JDM if its uk there were 2 versions; standard and GT if it was JDM there was a range.
  18. guys i have something in the pipe line that may well interest you guys for this particular purpose. i'm currently in the process of setting up my own business i've ordered in parts to demonstrate on and waiting on some materials for the process but hopefully at the start of january i will have something concrete to show you guys. i don't want to reveal to much at the moment as i'm not ready; but when i am i'm hoping you lot will like it and hopefully it should benefit you lot. once i have some samples in place and some initial zed products ready i shall speak to the mods about trading rights and then reveal all.
  19. you make some valid points and i agree with alot of what you say. i hate the daily mail with a passion, my mum reads it and she is terrible for thinknig the worst. i take what the media says with a pinch of salt. its always better to read the facts and make your own mind up "newspapers do not write fact" they write opinions based around some facts. but i have to disagree with your last paragraph; for me i don't think we get value for money; our transport netowrk needs an overhaul. it works but its not designed to cope with the volumes we now have. our schools are over populated and we need more of them to reduce the class sizes. and our health care system is extremely inefficient; its working but its on its last legs. and our welfare system is exaclty that; well fair; and to be honest to fair, its being abused. thing is things are only going to get worse for the next 5 years as we try to claw back the money, so its going to be a case of pay more get less. i can deal with this as long as it gets us out of the crap, and in the future our money is used more effectivly.
