better to do what you want form the offset you'll only end up looking at them wishing you'd done what you'd planned to instead of going the cheaper option. (this is coming form someone who has done this with wheels before) save up and do it right first time. check out Attaks wheels may suit you needs

Exactly mate IMO if you want an out in out sports car then a manual or maybe not a 350, but if your stuck in traffic and its your daily driver that 0.5 second slower on the upshift wont bother you. I love the auto as its just a joy to drive daily. I would probably get annoyed with a manual when im coming home tired. Its also abit point and squirt which is nice. i think my next car will be a semi auto, been looking at smg II and DSG boxes as they are apparently very good and quicker than a manual.

sounds good, if a jobs done properly the results are always good. i must admit the pre facelift headlights was one of its weaknesses.

i have always liked the cf user interfaces always wanted to do something lie this but never really got round to it; to be honest i was a bit nervous about the whole thing so chickened out. nice to see others making the work manageable; hopefully encourage others to have a go too.

the auto on the 370 is a different kettle of chips and that would be my first choice to try before i buy. as it has the auto blip on down changes and the paddle gear change.

i don't like lights that blind on coming traffic; makes me want to get out and smash their headlights in with the drivers face.

renovo is excellent stuff i use it on my vinyl roof of my S2k the clean and restore work brilliantly. haven't used the renovo roof restorer; but seen pictures and its very effective. a very popular item amoung the classic car crowd.

no offense taken d block, different cars, engines and gear boxes make for different drives, i don't have a lot of experience with auto's. i do agree that the extra torque makes driving it as an auto very usable on long drives extra; turning it in to a comfortable cruiser. but i know from others that some auto boxes can ruin a car and make it feel numb to drive. i stil stand by what i said; try both and see what you like, for the zed i thought the manual was the better option and more envolved; but that was just my opinion. and everyone is different.

have you checked the back of the headlight to make sure the protective cap is still in place. if its not crap can get in from behind the light. the cap is basically i big jam jar lid that screws over the back of the ballast. you'd need to remove it in order to change the bulbs. if thats in place my guess is its not sealed properly else where. and to be honest once grit has got in there the light is as good as finished. you remove it and try filling with water to rince it out. might also show where the leaks are. but if you try and clean the mirror finish inside it tends to peel away extremely easy. see how you get on but you may need a new unit.

don't think the zed is the best car as an auto. just personal opinion, think it suits being a manual far better. others may disagree.

could try a higher kelvin bulb, might help think i put 6k in mine compared to the standard 4.5k in the stock headlights. also try checking the level in them, make sure they are up high enough. but agreed stock headlights are pretty dull and useless.
