  1. I purchased my HR - 95k miles 57 plate for £8,150 around 2 months ago - webuyanycar value it at £5,170 The price I paid was fair - possibly slightly higher than similar HR's on autotrader due to the £800 gallery gasket being fixed already. So based on that, I'd say you should be able to get that extra 25% if you sell privately, however we would need some more details (mileage, condition, mods etc) to give you a more accurate price.
  2. That's less than I paid for my HR last month - looks to be in pretty good condition as well - full service history with no MOT issues - bargain
  3. I believe the ABS ring is built into the wheel bearing - I don't know if these can corrode, but it may be worth looking at.
  4. Can you get any better photos? Point your phone up at it with flash on?
  5. Looks good! I'm planning to upgrade me stock head unit to an android auto model over the next few months - what pushed you to go for 2 screens instead of 1 that did everything? To get rid of the now useless Satnav?
  6. Torque specs are: Four 17mm bolts holding hub assembly: 78.5-98.1nm/ 58-72ft-lb Two 22mm bolts holding brake caliper: 151-152nm/ 111.4-112.1lb-ft I don't know where other people get torque specs - I just google it normally Here's a link to the service manual for your Z though: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/350Z/coupe/2005/
  7. Seems to be adjusted great now - the clutch travel feels much shorter now though, I thought it only lowered the height of the pedal, but the distance to push the pedal to the floor feels much shorter. Is this correct/normal?
  8. Okay I clearly didn't think this through and need to adjust it the other way
  9. I'm not a huge fan of the height of the clutch biting point on my HR, and found this guide on the forum so thought I would give it a go: So I got under the pedals (not a comfy job this one) and found that I have a lot less adjustability than shown in the how to - the splined bolt was already screwed out most of the way. I've attached 2 photos, one showing how far I now have mine screwed out, and one showing the height of my brake pedal vs clutch. In the how to, he said he had adjusted his clutch so it was 10mm behind his brake pedal, and there's no way I could do this on mine. Am I missing something here? My car is an HR, could there be any pedal differences? Any thoughts on this would be great, thanks.
  10. Yep, not sure if anyone else sells them but this is what I found: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/350z/body-styling/exterior/1676-350z-de-torqen-engine-bay-titanium-bolts-kit-trq-z33tib.html
  11. Bodywork is often more expensive than expected, may cost more than just a few £100 depending on where you go. I probably wouldn't report it to Insurance, your excess is probably close to the cost of the repair, and you're premiums will most likely go up.

    Tein Springs

I'm about to buy some Tein Springs online - thought I should check on here first to see if anyone's got any they didn't fit for some reason and want to sell? I'll be buying new one's in about 2 weeks, so let me know before then if you do. Thanks
  15. My Zeds an HR - I think it's a different black paint code unfortunately
  16. Are Tein springs too low? I've been tempted to buy some, but to get to my house I have to go over about 5 normal size speed bumps
  17. Definitely worth going SMF based on the price differences - a DMF on it's own from Torqen costs the same as the entire extreme kit.
  18. I'm looking at putting some JDM auto up/down passenger side switches in my HR. Are the DE switches the same as the HR ones? They look identical but thought I should check here first. Thanks.
  19. I got a pm with fitting instructions sent to me, @cs2000 must have missed you off the mailing list.
  20. Zmanalex will most likely have all the spare parts you need, what do you think needs replacing? Fire damaged cars are often write offs though as removing the smell of burnt fabric and plastic can be close to impossible. Even if you were to replace all the seats and any other burnt/melted areas with new parts the car may still smell too bad to continue to drive.
  21. Photobucket killed alot of the guides on this forum, CS2000 has made a new audio upgrade guide here instead though:
  22. That's mad that you had to pay that much - I'm 22 with 4 years NCB and my first year on a HR was only £750 with admiral.
