This video seems to show it's just a metal triangle screwed in place, possibly PM zmanalex & see if he can sell you that part if you decide to cut it? I may be completely wrong about this, but I'm just trying to help. Good luck

Hey, I'm new here & don't own a Z just yet, but from what I understand the latch isn't unlocking meaning that the U shaped hook is locking the top in place. Looks like you've got about an inch of access to that hook. Would the best option not be to cut the metal hook? Do you know how the hook is fastened on? If it's bolted on then cutting it wouldn't be to much of an issue as replacement would be fairly straightforward. I've tried to find photos of it on line but I'm not having much luck

There's no way I could have a black box!!! I wasn't sure what "Interior changes" meant though - so I can put in an aftermarket wheel with no airbag & race seats in and that's all covered?

Thanks, looks like admiral is the best option for me currently, got it down to £960 so I'll try that company too. Admiral seem pretty great with mods - adding "interior mods" and a spoiler only adds £1 to the policy!?

Hi all, I'm currently waiting on my BMW 320i's insurance to run out at the end of July so I can get my 4th year NCB & get a 350z. My budget is around £7,000 and I was hoping to find a manual 2006-08 (HR) coupe with less than 70k miles preferably. So question no. 1 - did they stop offering blue & orange cars for these model years? There are none on autotrader but plenty for the pre-06 models No.2 - Will anyone be selling there's around then? If so I please let me know as if possible I would like to buy from here. No.3 - Is it possible to remove the stock satnav? I will be installing a android auto HU so would rather have the cubby space. Hi all, I currently drive a BMW 3201i and I'm hoping to move over to a 350z when my insurance runs out at the end of July. I'll have been driving for 4 years then so hopefully won't be completely rinsed on insurance (I'm 22) Looking at quotes, cheapest is admiral at £1,200. Bit higher than my quote for the BMW at £400 but it seems worth it. Anyway, if anyone's got any tips or is based near King's Lynn and doesn't mind showing off their car to me, let me know! Cheers.
