I have one! But I also have a disclaimer or two... First, I've never driven a 350Z that didn't have one, so I don't know what the stock mechanism is like, except what I read and that's a lot of complaints, in general. Second, I don't know what brand mine is, but judging by the absolute shite bolted onto my car by previous owners, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out of a christmas cracker. Now to how it feels...it's ok, it's not 'bad'. Yes, notchiness, yes, vibration, yes, difficult to put in reverse sometimes (but I understand that happens with the stock shifter as well ), yes, more shifting effort required (so get a heavy knob, like Rob did above, I have one but I haven't fitted it yet, hence my extra effort), but I have not yet missed a gear, so it's working fine and I have no current plans to change or remove it. The B&M is touted as the best SS kit for MANY cars, including ours, but they have a price to match.

Look out, there's a caravan/grand piano falling from the sky!! That's what I use that one (*single finger) for. We used to do demon horns (raised index and little finger, back of hand towards recipient) for the Honda sign. It does look like the Honda sign. One of the coolest things about owning a Honda lol.

Some do, some don't. Avoid ebay headlights unless you have a SOLID recommendation from someone who has bought the exact same product and found it to be good. The typical problems you will have with these ebay crap ones is that the leds either don't work out of the box, or fail shortly thereafter, they are also often poorly sealed, and you will probably find glue marks inside if you look carefully where they glued the aftermarket crap in. The adjusters, if the lights have them, may not allow the required range of adjustment, and lastly, if you park in the sun or your car lives outside, they will fog from uv very quickly. People who buy these lights accept all these possibilities, some get lucky, some don't care, others tear their own hair out with frustration and wonder why they didnt buy Depo. Plus, I have to tell you that I think they look chav unless you have a very aggressive car, and even then, they still look like cheap ebay 'spyder' lights to me.

I won't judge mate, I don't think it's worth spending half the value of the car on wheels that won't see a racetrack either. Cheers!

Tarmac side steps & 3 piece front lip

Ignore me, I'm an idiot. -
S2000 owners generally wave. By the way, I awlays give thumbs up to any 'special' car, especially other Japs. S2000s, Evos, Zeds, Supras, but not scoobys which are chavmobiles (I jest, but we all know what I mean). You may remember I've said that I never see any other Zs over here, only ONE since September. Well, on Sunday I saw 2 on the way back from a playcentre with the kids, unfortunately, I was driving the wife's XC60.

Hi there, lovely looking car, can I have your hood/bonnet please Seriously though, your car is wearing one of my high listed wheel choices, I assume those are JR5 or varrstoen equivalents? May I ask sizes and tyres please? Thanks!

The switch is silent, any clicking you hear is coming from the rear, and means the actuator is working. Sounds like your actuator is weakening.
-
I also had a fuel cap problem on mine when I bought it. I thought it was the actuator because when I pressed the button I wasn't hearing the click. So I bought an actuator, and was in the proces of replacing it (ripped out all the rear plastics and carpets, had the fuel cap OPEN (important note!)), I had my mate press the button, and sure enough the actuator was working strongly. Turns out the flat spring that 'pops' the cap up was simply very very weak on mine and someone had tried bending the little body pieces (little flaps attached to the body of the car that the rubber grommets in the cap rest on when closed) to try to force it out more, but all they had achieved with this, was to stop the actuator working, so tight was the catch against the actuator pin. I ended up changing the fuel cap for one from a newer car with naturally a newer spring. All is now good.

Intermittent heater controls - anyone else had this?
Aashenfox replied to iwanprice12's topic in 350Z General
I may be able to provide a clue based on recent experience. In my car, the heater controls didn't work at all when I acquired it, and while I was in the process of changing them, I noticed the behaviour that if the car is turned on, but the connector not properly seated, Everything turns on full. Based on that and the fact that yours is randomly turning on full, I have to assume that you have a problem with the connector. It may simply need pushing in. There's a centre console removal guide in the DIYs on here I think, but if there isn't it's not hard to find on youtube, it's basically 4 screws and pull from the top toward you. If you need a replacement control set, hit up one of our breakers, Jon @ Emperor or ZMANALEX, I think I got mine for 14 quid from Jon. -
Meh, call me childish, but I'm starting to like MLB, he's starting to be himself. I also liked the muck spreader bit, I had no idea those things could shred a car!! Sabine was awwesome, but yeh, a little too much screaming Rory (pun intended). In fact, can we swap Rory for someone else after all? Too fake...

I like it from every angle, back reminds me a bit of Sagaris. I'd give a testicle for that concept pictured, I think it's the coolest looking car I've ever seen. PLLEEEEASE Nissan, make it like that! And where can I buy them rims!! lol

Favourite boxing personality of all time, yeh, Eubank. I always liked the cocky fighters, big Naseem Hamed fan too, in his day he was almost as good as Roy Jones. Eubank's son's career is coming on in leaps and bounds, he's a good little boxer, got the same heart and determination as his father, but we've yet to see if he has the chin. By God Eubank Senior had a rock solid chin.

Looking good. Jelly.

IMO, you need an aggressive car like Buster's to pull off the 'riveted' look.

Roy Jones Junior. The finest pound for pound fighter of all time. I'll talk boxing with you all day long. I tried a couple months ago, but nobody was interested. And the dude made a track, and it was good. Respect.

This one (370Z style GT)? Or this one (Amuse CSL)? Or do you mean the superleggera widebody (I guess not since you say just bumper will do). I'd also be interested in a (replica) group buy if the first one.

Black 350z, A329, pulled over by two flashing cop cars.
Aashenfox replied to DarmoZ's topic in Spotted or Flyered
I'm not your man, mine's a ginger and I'm about 2000 miles away, but I thought I'd mention... I've probably had my car out for a drive 10 times since I got it in September. Been pulled over 3 times for no reason. Lol. Yay for owning a rare car, all the cops want to have a nose and ask how much power. -
I completely realise you could easily have done this yourself, but let me save you the trouble. 3.0v6 mid engine two seater rear wheel drive hatchback. https://en.wikipedia...6_Renault_Sport
