Alright chaps... iv just purchased some axle stands thanks the good find someone posted on here Iv never used axle stands before, always messed around with big chocks of hardwood (well... not that big) Anyway... I'm not sure where is safe to sit them other than the jacking points on the car, but obviously the jack would be there at the time. Could someone please let me know where the best or a good safe place to put them on the rear and the front??? If you could point out on a picture I'd be extreamly grateful. Also is there a place I can jack off to raise the rear or front of the car in one go??? (instead of jacking each corner seperatly) cheers guys

A friend showed me this about 3 months ago.. I built a big base, out of wood only to be fair, I ended up having a week off it and when I returned my base was no more... gutted the amount of wasted hours lol so i built another one, again after a month I had a week off and boom... gone again... then I realised you a limited time to log on again or everything you own disappears... I suffer quite bad, I get prescribed NEOCLARATIN tablets, take one every morning, but it takes about a week for them to start working, or I take a strong antihistermine tablet everyday like benerdryl I think, they seem to work within the hour... hayfever is a curse and I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy lol

I had it on my 350 when I bought it, and couldn't work out what it was for ages, I thought it was the dashboard vibrating at 1st, then I changed the gear gator one day and didn't tight the knob up really tight and the vibrating noise got really loud.. after pooping it for 5mins going on and off the throttle trying to find the noise I realised it stopped when my hand touched the knob. I drove with the knob off for a while and no noise at all, so i used some PTFE tape (plumbers tape for everything) on the threads and screwed the knob on, and hey presto.

I'll have one.... when will they be ready?? Haha... I like the black with the silver ring

Got a chance to purchase a second hand 5/8 skunk2 plenum spacer.... Has anyone used one before?? Also will 5/8 fit under my strut brace?? I've got a DE Any help or wise words will be appreciated as always

Also this set has a spark plug socket perfect for when mine arrive Monday better than using the old... "bluetack in the top of the old spark plug socket" method lol although its been faultless the last few times iv used it.

In comparison sites do I enter... exhaust system changes... or aftermarket exhaust system approved for road use... I have a cat back. Also there is no option to say my roof is wrapped... only the whole car wrapped...

I'm in the middle of getting quotes now, 26, had licence for 7yrs, 4 yrs ncd, live on a cul de sac in a poshish village. Compare websites want 1130 for standard 04 uk zed and 1260 with cat back and spacers. Adrian flux said 950 with mods Sky said they don't cover my postcode haha never heard that one before. Anyone else I can try???

I'm in a white hoody with a hat on next to my girlfreind at 48 seconds I went down in my zed but unfortunately my zed diddnt make the cut obviously... although i was filmed, but that man's zed was properly modified unlike mine which is just lowered with some scabby rays and abit of wing rust lol At least I got to meet Tim Shaw and have a chat, he's a funny man...

Cheers guys, although I have just taken delivery of all my servicing stuff today, I ordered castrol edge 5w 30 fully synthetic as that's what Iv used in my last 3 cars and I think its a decent quality and not cheap at £50 for 4 litres (I got it for 37 though in a sale) I'm about to change my gearbox, diff and engine oil, flush my brake fluid, put yellowstuff pads in and change spark plugs. Just wondering how I add the Mollyslip to my gearbox?? Can I mix it with the oil then use a big syringe thing to put it in my box, or put oil in 1st then add the molyslip?? Also do I i use the full tube of molyslip?? I appreciate the help chaps..

Cheers guys, The Castrol oil selector is saying I should be using 5w 40 in A 350z not 30, Do you think its worth changing?? I'm about to service my car so nows the time to change if I am.. Also does anyone know where I can buy molyslip for the gearbox?.

What's the difference between 5w 30 and 5w 40??? Is it thicker?

I have been using Castrol edge 5w 30 fully synthetic on my last three cars including the zed.. Is this a good oil for the zed?? Iv seen most people use Motul 8100 Eco-Nergy 5W-30 Fully Synthetic,is this a better oil?? Or can it handle higher temps compared to the Castrol?? I do the odd trakday so would like something that can take a beating. any reccomendations please?? cheers
