  1. I remember watching this video before buying my s2000, after watching it I wanted one more than ever, they look so cool black with red interior... a week later I got one lol Then a year later swapped it for the beast i have now although I love the zed to pieces, I still regret getting rid of the s2000..
  2. Received both today, brilliant pictures from all the members, I was glad to see a couple of my entries making the cut my girlfreind was over the moon to find a picture of her in the drivers seat in the March picture... the fact that it was her 2nd time ever driving my car happend to be on track... and she had never been over 3.5k revs in her little mx5 lol... she now feels like Sabine Schmitt haha Thanks again for your efforts stu, really pleased with them
  3. I saw one ebay for £1200
  4. Nice looking 'zee'... unfortunately he crashed it 2 or 3 days ago on the 'freeway',he decided to grind it down the central reservation on one side.
  5. I'm after some advice please chaps... The last 2 months when starting the beast in the morning its been nearly stalling straight away then catches itself and idles fine and everything is good.. I put it down to cold weather ( see if it changes when it gets warmer I thought) But today for the 1st time it took longer for it to start and where it usually nearly stalls to start with then sorts itself out, it didn't.. it started then stalled. So I started it again, it also took longer than usual, but then everything was fine.. So I drove to work.. Come to start it after work and again it took longer to start but didn't instantly stall, instead it gave me a tcs and slip light, I started driving and noticed its lacking in power but not in limp mode as I got to 3.5k revs.. The eml has been randomly coming on recently (sometimes twice in 1 day, sometimes once a week) with bank 2 o2 senser 2 slow response (I'm not paying much attention to it as 2nd sensor is no harm apparently. Any ideas of what sensor is being a pain?? Or where to start looking?? Iv had a Google and people are saying camshaft sensor in America, but their getting limp mode stalling whilst driving, like when stopping for lights etc.. Cheers guys, I trust all your advice more than any mechanic i know lol
  6. Im not much help in recommending a garage but iv only ever heard of bad things from junction 17, their name has come up on this forum many times of people who are having nothing but trouble with them after a sale, so just be carefull.
  7. 1) ATTAK Z +1 2) Hayd350 3) G1en 4) Rob350 (anytime)
  8. All I know is, apparently a flashing management light means stop driving instantly, or youl keep doing more damage.. I also know your a brave man for keeping on driving and ignoring it for so long lol It could just be a faulty sensor and thanks why yours is intermitant, but no wouldn't drive it till I read the codes.. you can buy a basic code reader for about £10 then your not having to mess about with garages just to read a code.
  9. Ep3 civic type r... *cheap to buy *quick *reliable *relatively cheap to run *good fun cars

    REO 2018

I don't mind being a backup / joint north west organiser if everyone is happy with that... I enjoyed organising the last one also my 1st one I don't want Spatt thinking I'm trying to take over though lol
  11. Plenty on ebay.. cd009s for 1200, or ones for 700 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-manual-gearbox-gear-box-TMS-MOTORSPORT/322902102889?hash=item4b2e771369:g:~kUAAOSwlyJaGGC2
  12. How about some eyelid shaped vinyl for the 350 head lights? Instead of the plastic stick on caps?
  13. Might give this a go then and see what happens, mines literally only on cold start though..
  14. Sorry to jump on thread but could be similar issues possibly... when it's cold and frosty in the morning and I start the beast up it really struggles to stay alive for seconds then everything is OK. Iv got a video here....thing is it never did it last year in the winter Any thoughts i would be greatfull, hopefully could help us both out. 20171129_075015.mp4
  15. Thanks for all the info guys, looks like ive started abit of a debate haha. Think im gunna go cheap and cheerful karcher and see how long it lasts, iv heard people have had them for years just for washing their car once a week and there still going strong, I'll definitely be buying a longer hose though as it only comes with a 3 meter one.
  16. Karcher k2 basic https://www.tesco.com/direct/karcher-k2-basic-exclusive-pressure-washer-with-accessories/207-5954.prd?source=others I its had plenty of good reveiws, next one up is £130 with pressure control and things, I think this will do my needs though tbh, and I'm quite good at repairing things lol
  17. Haha just googled Kranzer washer and your right... just a little over budget, I'll start small and work my way up maybe. What is it on the gun that breaks?? The trigger, or seals or somthing?? It's covered with 2 year warranty. my main concerns were is the actual pressure machine going to last a while and also is 110 bar pressure and 360 L/H good enough??
  18. Iv never owned a pressure washer before so have no idea.. Seen this karcher k2 basic on black Friday emails... thought I might get it because It saves me using the pay as you go car wash pressure washers (don't worry I take 2 buckets and my own cleaning gear, I use the hot shampoo then high pressure rinse, then wash my car by hand and rinse off again) https://www.tesco.com/direct/karcher-k2-basic-exclusive-pressure-washer-with-accessories/207-5954.prd?source=others b&q have the same for the same price but without all the accessories. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are?? I'm not after anything fancy, literally just somthing to rinse soap off. Budget of about 50 to £70 max, I just want somthing I can use once a week to rinse soap off my car with a decent bit of pressure. Any reccomendations???
  19. Thanks for the advice mate, I'll either just leave the passenger side, as you say there's no vac and you've not seen any oil yet, or I'll get a mini filter on it and cap the connection to the intake, but looking forward to seeing how much oil actually comes through from drivers side
  20. So it works then... I'm glad to hear, I wasn't to sure on what the little bottle thing was he was using, I ebayed the he'll out of it to find that I think its an inline air compressor filter, so iv just bought 1 of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272173192241 and I'll see how it goes. Just need to buy hose and 2 1/4 inch threaded to 10mm hose pipe connector bits and I'll see how it goes.. I'm trying to find out where the passenger side pcv is?? so i can make 1 for that side also
  21. Iv been looking into catch cans recently... I stumbled on this thread made in 2012 by @GT4 Zed... I'm thinking of having a go at somthing like this for both sides.. instead of spending £250 for 2 cans
  22. Iv been over twice now, personally I get eurotunnel over because its quicker in time but also more miles and driving for you. I got the eurotunnel and stayed in Bruges for a night then when to Amsterdam for a few nights then to the ring last year. It took me 9 hours to get from my house to Bruges including tunnel and a few stops. This year I got eurotunnel again stayed in Lille in an f1 hotel then it was an easy 4 hour drive to the ring for me, again it took about 10 hours from my house to my 1st stop in lille, I really diddnt thinking was that bad of a drive, I set off at 730 and arrived in Lille about 5 30, got some food and rest and carried non the day after. Things to be aware of, you obviously need to take insurance copies with you halfords sell a European bag for £20 with breathalysers triangles spare bulbs, high vis, light defectors etc the main thing is there arnt many shell stations around, so if your a strict shell user then plan your route around the stations, also on my 1st trip I was confused as to which was super unleaded they don't always show the octane number on the pump. Be very weary around roundabouts, its every man for himself out there, they don't have lane discipline at all, so if you come onto a Bigish round about with 4 or 5 exits and 2 or 3 lanes then just be vigilant. Also speed cameras around towns and villages in Germany Belgium are tiny and I think blue, so not very easy to spot, especially when you get the really nice hilly Forrest roads of Germany, the speed limit changes constantly from 50 to 80 to 70 to 50. Iv only ever been as far as the ring so I'm not much help after that, but aim for stelvio pass and lake como in Italy or lake Garda. Meant to be absolutly beautiful places with really good roads surrounding them.. Let us know how you get on and the route your planning on taking maybe because I'm planning on doing similar next year in June. I plan on going to the ring for a few days, then down through Switzerland to Italy for a few days, gunna go on monza and imola hopefully when I'm there, then across to south of france and up the west coast back to Calais, so I'd be interested to know some routes and places to stay in and around italy, But more importantly, hope you have a blast and I'm sure youl love it, especially round the German forest roads are amazing, you'll be going back every year lol
  23. Took advantage of this sale already, I were only browsing through to see what offers were on and ended up bagging myself a nice nismo rs pedal cheers torqen
