  1. Sometimes you do get lucky
  2. Probably been said before, don't buy on mileage buy on the condition. But again well done on walking away to think, the fun of the test drive can blind you from obvious flaws. Drive another to compare, then drive one that has been looked after by an enthusiast, I bet there is a big difference.... Good luck with the hunt
  3. Thought there would be a connection to here somewhere While on the topic of cleaning (sort of) what are the Autosmart and Auto finesse etc products he use's like ? Any good or worth spending the extra on all Meguire's/poorboys stuff ?
  4. Just wondered if this was anyone on here ? Stunning 300zx TT
  5. If you are on about the Zed that was indoors, that is mine buddy. I had just had them fully refurbed and the colour was matched to our Alfa Romeo 4C launch Edition. Its just a slighty darker anthracite with a high gloss finish. Im guessing best way to upload image is via photobucket? if so I will try and remember my login details haha. Some great photo's and a massive thank you to all those that came to our open day. The club is always welcome to hold a zed only meet anytime Maybe a detailing and fix it meet type thing. Yeah the one inside, yours Mine could do with some tlc, but I was thinking going Anthracite ish. If you don't me copying the idea... If you can't get on photobucket, I can dm you my email if it's easier ? Only need a side view so you don't need to edit out your reg or anything.
  6. Followed your guide and fitted mine today, took no more than 20 minutes to run the cables, hide the module box, mount the controller on the dash by the drivers center vent. Follow the programming instructions and worked first time. Thanks Gotta say, SP7 is a huge difference in throttle response. Not took it to 10 yet but at this time of year it's probably risky anyway...
  7. You have to ask what else that wrap is hiding too ? could be horrific under that.
  8. Arrived home to find a thing of beauty waiting for me. Many thanks !!
  9. I found the same when I came, special cars owned and advised by special folks on here.
  10. Glad you answered my question before I asked it, mine is getting swapped out soon. So pop off the surround, grip shaft and twist off. Anti-clockwise I assume ?
  11. These guys are pretty good for components or prebuilt to your requirements https://www.scan.co.uk/
  12. Looks like a great meet up. Very tidy looking rides too, bet the combined HP total was huge ! Small request: Did anyone get a snap of those touring alloys on the Z ? Looked like anthracite grey, im considering doing mine in the new year and would like to see how they look
  13. Guess I got lucky for a change, thanks for your help.
  14. Are these still in stock ? looking to order one this week, thanks Edit: Ordered
  15. In short, don't buy a £300 console. Spend 2K and build a decent PC Personally, I have a PS4 for 'pick up and play' stuff like GTA, Fifa(x) and a solid custom PC for the real gaming when I actually have more than 2 hours free time (rare) but as for the OP's question, yes there is some backwards compatibility on the Xbone and for your daughter im sure it will be more than good enough to fill the time between Homework/Going out/Work/Chores (delete as applicable) Depending on what you/she plans on doing gaming wise then that should decide what you buy. Quick pick up and play PS4/Xbone, serious gaming and pretty much anything else then it's a PC you need. Horses for courses really.
  16. Can I get a brushed finish with black for the 350z and red top please. If you PM your paypal info i'll send payment. Cheers
  17. PM sent. Does anyone know if these are bonded with that black gunk stuff ? Plan on possibly splitting them and painting inside.
  18. Press it and see ?
  19. Two for me would be: Abide with me and Paul Van Dyk's I don't Deserve you, both hold strong emotions for very different reasons to me.
  20. At this time of year i'd be tempted to rent some workshop space and booth time at a local body shop, you would be surprised how many will help you out. A lot will just charge you for the sundries you use, tape, paper, sanding pads etc Plus their painter will no doubt be in to lend advise if needed. Probably cost less than buying a compressor and the electric bill to run the heat lamps, which are less than ideal for this kinda of work in winter.
  21. Do these have a pass through so you can still connect an ODB2 reader, or do you need to disconnect it ?
  22. Mine does not connect to ECU with either NDS2 or Torque Pro apps Don't bother with this type http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-OBD2-ELM327-V1-5-Bluetooth-Car-Scanner-Android-Torque-Auto-Scan-Tool-OBD-II/281433459879?_trksid=p3693.c100102.m2452&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140212121249%26meid%3D6a96c6153fdc4f6686cc99e0240fed24%26pid%3D100102%26 Suggestions on one that works please...
  23. So out of those 4 choices, which boxes would you want ticking in order of priority. Yeah that is usually a pick 2 kind of answer and prices vary...
  24. 2 Sheets of 75mm Polystyrene cut to the same size as the spare work great, you can even make cutouts in them for your bits. Plus it holds up the boot carpet and board perfect Cost me £11 for an 8x4 sheet of 75mm insulation Poly from the local building supplies.
  25. If you strip the wheels right back, etch prime them first, then a decent high build primer. As said prep is key and don't try to rush the job. Personally I always do the inside first, quick flip down and carry on.
