  1. PM sent. Does anyone know if these are bonded with that black gunk stuff ? Plan on possibly splitting them and painting inside.
  2. Two for me would be: Abide with me and Paul Van Dyk's I don't Deserve you, both hold strong emotions for very different reasons to me.
  3. At this time of year i'd be tempted to rent some workshop space and booth time at a local body shop, you would be surprised how many will help you out. A lot will just charge you for the sundries you use, tape, paper, sanding pads etc Plus their painter will no doubt be in to lend advise if needed. Probably cost less than buying a compressor and the electric bill to run the heat lamps, which are less than ideal for this kinda of work in winter.
  4. Do these have a pass through so you can still connect an ODB2 reader, or do you need to disconnect it ?
  5. Mine does not connect to ECU with either NDS2 or Torque Pro apps Don't bother with this type http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-OBD2-ELM327-V1-5-Bluetooth-Car-Scanner-Android-Torque-Auto-Scan-Tool-OBD-II/281433459879?_trksid=p3693.c100102.m2452&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140212121249%26meid%3D6a96c6153fdc4f6686cc99e0240fed24%26pid%3D100102%26 Suggestions on one that works please...
  6. So out of those 4 choices, which boxes would you want ticking in order of priority. Yeah that is usually a pick 2 kind of answer and prices vary...
  7. 2 Sheets of 75mm Polystyrene cut to the same size as the spare work great, you can even make cutouts in them for your bits. Plus it holds up the boot carpet and board perfect Cost me £11 for an 8x4 sheet of 75mm insulation Poly from the local building supplies.
  8. If you strip the wheels right back, etch prime them first, then a decent high build primer. As said prep is key and don't try to rush the job. Personally I always do the inside first, quick flip down and carry on.
  9. Yeah, I know some run the 10w40 so thought i'd pop it up there is a 5w30 in the same stuff same price

    Tyre sizes

Is it possible to fit 255/40/18 to the rears on the bog standard Touring alloys ? Currently has 245/45/18's ? Or will they screw with the TCS system, I would be looking to fit 240-245/40/18's on the front and was considering one of: Uniroyal Rainsport 3, Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 (Had the V12's on the ST and loved them) or the Avon zz5's Advise and input welcomed.
  11. To fit that in that space is a work of art, not 100% on the zip ties holding up though...
  12. Perfect if all the family is round for Christmas
  13. Flicking through ebay and this turned up http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-GT-82K-FSH-Manual-Modified-/152309361990?hash=item2376586d46:g:5aQAAOSwgHZYC6xP That is one serious wing.
  14. As the title says, Fuchs Titan 10W40 £20 Ebay Any good ?
  15. Hope the ELM works with mine... Just bought one but not tried it yet, Thursday will be the day of discovery.
  16. I'd offer the advise of look at and drive a few, take them for a good run too. Get them working all through the rev range on a variety of roads. And the obvious one, if it been warmed up before you get there. Walk away.
  17. Hi Guys, Can you PM me with a price for a P3 kit minus belts, but include the Molyslip please
  18. Perfect i'll contact clarks. Thanks guys.
  19. When doing the gearbox oil, is it the Molyslip 2001G that should be added ? Also, is it worth using the 2001E in the engine ? Thanks
  20. Reminds me of a shih tzu fighting (trying) with a Alsatian....
  21. If only.... Stunning motor, seems cheap too. Maybe ask these guys if they are interested http://www.rsdirectbristol.co.uk/sales/ they do a lot of high end cars mostly modded ones.
  22. The more I visit these forums the more I like them, not only wealth of Z related knowledge but good discussions on pretty much anything. Who would have guessed a simple 'spotted' post would descend into a fascinating thread of historical nuclear eco disaster. A visit to Pripyat is on my list of 'things I must do' have been fascinated with the place for years.
  23. They say they could return to live there as soon as Spring 2017, can't be that bad now then ?
  24. Ouch ! Painful to see so many iconic cars abandoned. Surely they could be decontaminated ?
