  1. I got rid of mine to buy the Z, for a Ford, way too expensive on parts. Mine cost me £950 for a clutch and fly, £480 for a F'ing alternator ! The steering rack was on its way out and the driveshafts were ready for changing, add in the fact it hated starting when hot. Was looking at another £800-900 to put it right Trade in time.... Bye ! Got a £1000 off the Z for it Hope it wasn't mine you got.... @Coldel One of these ? http://www.classiccarshq.co.uk/ads/sale-ra28-toyota-celica-baby-mustang-mot-tax-1977/
  2. Spotted this on the dailymail site, looks a little too clean to be abandoned Could have some serious fun in a ghost town in that link to story http://www.dailymail...nhabitable.html
  3. Wouldn't constant short drives once a week be worse than letting it sit for a month or so and then giving it an hours run out ?
  4. Spotted North bound M6 near Sandbach stuck in that nightmare traffic... Reg D11 ***
  5. Or pedestrians if timed right/wrong depending on who it is
  6. I'd second the catching water drops before the filter, probably useless. On the subject, is it worth spending the money on a K&N panel ?
  7. Tommy Kaira really should sue Porsche, they clearly stole his design for the Carrera GT
  8. Seller is a 2 minute walk from my house, if anyone is considering buying this. Let me know and I can pop over and get you extra pics/videos etc to save you a trip.
  9. Would these show any improvement on a totally stock DE ? Or is it only for cars that have been modded/mapped etc ?
  10. That is the most majestic summation of a strip club I have ever seen, pure brilliance. But, back on topic... Vegas.
  11. Again, horses for courses. Had the F1's on my Impreza and they were bloody woeful. Hated every second of running those.
  12. If you were not so far from me i'd drive over and swap light for light :/
  13. Looks good ! This will be job number 1 come next summer

    Body Shops

Autoline in Wigan are pretty good, Alan is a decent fella and won't rip you off. (it's the one on Cricket street im talking about, I have no experience with the one in Pemberton) Or you can try HB Panelcraft in Preston, not the cheapest but they were the approved Porsche repairer a few years back (probably still are, not been for yrs) Then there is Karl Vella in Skelmersdale, again not cheap but do a good job.
  15. Yeah, given the number of Merc engines on the grid and only 1 person suffering repeated failures, something not right.
  16. Think that's the title for ROS now, Lewis just has no luck at all this year.
  17. Thanks for the input, Stormforce it will be then... When covered, is it worth throwing a few de-humidifiers in too ? 1 in the boot and 1 on the center console ? Or would you go with a 5mm gap on each window to let it breath ? I do plan on firing her up once a fortnight, worth it ? or should I just let it sit and drip a bit of oil in before firing after the hibernation ?
  18. First mod I did, space saver out. Make a replacement from polystyrene
  19. Thanks, was thinking the same. Yeah it will be outside, in the corner of the drive. There is reasonable shelter from the wind and worst of the weather, the house and trees/shrubs then the Kuga in behind it.
  20. Congratulations, stunning location too. Better not let the other half see this thread....
  21. As the title says, im on the look out for a tailored cover to keep the winter elements off the Z (Rdstr) Does anyone have experience with these http://www.carscover...02-ONWARDS.html ? if so, which one and how good/bad was it. Also, im open to suggestions of other brands or 'off the shelf' covers that will do the job well.
  22. Yeah for me they should test using all 3 main configs FF FR 4wd would give a more complete overview of what the rubber can or can't do.
  23. It's one of those situations where you notice it & accelerate a little to create a reasonable gap, and the driver behind in their pokey 1.6 diesel or VAG Tdi lump immediately do the same as if it's a competition. I can be very hot headed when driving in situations like this & have in the past just stopped in the middle of the road & got out of the car 'to have a word'. In most cases immediately after there's the safe distance gap behind I was hoping to see. It seems a lot of people nowadays don't leave a decent gap in anticipation for a hazard in the road or an emergency stop. Just a little rant I felt the need to get off my chest . It's usually some tool in his Corsa 1.2 round here, just show them the brake lights then drive away.
