  1. Probably the best car review i've ever read. Honest and bang on the money, as a 2019 Nismo owner not a single thing I can disagree with. Great work
  2. I don't 'protect' as such, but clean them, metal polish and coat with a spray wax and buff.
  3. Im glad someone else is as mad as I am, was on my back with metal polish on the resonators the other week
  4. As said, the 350 is a bit of a lard arse, but you can still man (or non binary) handle them on a B road. Yeah there are many things that will be quicker or more nimble on a B road. But to be honest the extra weight just means you have to be a bit better at throwing it around, just remember there could always be a tractor round the next blind one, a bit more weight and front end will serve you well
  5. Its not necessarily the torque on the plug, if oil is getting in from the piston rings causing a bad burn that would show as a cruddy electrode. In the same way it could be an injector issue on that cylinder. Swap it over and see if it follows on the next service.
  6. Should update post service. Full health check done and they reported it as in fantastic condition, pretty sure I knew that bit when I drove in But I will say, Chorley Nissan in Wigan were pretty decent, get a video walk around of them inspecting during the service etc which was a nice touch. So that's the second annual out the way, Oil, filters brake fluid etc. Hawk Ceramic Performance pads installed, now they are bedded in I have to say they are superb. Need a little heat in them to start but a couple of normal braking events sorts that and once warm they work, pretty sure if I slam on, it will trigger the airbags In terms of dust, about 400 miles in and still not found any so im a happy chap on that too.
  7. Was that a rear end damage that one ? Pretty sure I saw it on an auction site not long back. If its the same one, go over it with a fine tooth comb it was a BIG crash.
  8. Possibly a slight leak on the stem on 4 or a slight ring issue allowing a bit more oil burn on that one maybe ?
  9. When I swapped out on my old 350, the Bosch S4 was the battery of choice. Had more than enough on the CCA side of things so should be fine on a 370 too. Others may have more accurate help but i'd use the S4 as a guideline
  10. Hawk Ceramic performance pads fitted today, will drop an update once they are bedded in. Off to Nissan for a service tomorrow, Oil, Brake Fluid and filters. Next up: Z1 CAIS and then MPSS all round
  11. Welcome along, look forward to seeing what you have treated yourself too
  12. Hahaha, he should have recommended retraining for the copper too then
  13. That oil pick up has a cheeky smile for something that took a whack Another PM to @ZMANALEX will no doubt cure that one too
  14. As a guide, insurance wrote off my 05 roadster DE Touring spec 48,000 miles, roof skin was knackered and rear bumper had a slight split in it unrelated to the accident. Paid out £5.4k. By the sounds of yours i'd be listing at the 6-6.5k mark if serviced and MOT'ed etc
  15. Spotted Leigh bypass about 12 ish today. Gave you a flash. May have missed me due to the somewhat smokey old Skyline in front of me, poor old girl was burning some serious oil.
  16. If its anything like my Mrs was, another .5 mph and she would have been out of the frame for the photo
  17. I recall seeing something that anything Android 5 or above is not compatible. I may be wrong but given the year of release etc I can't see modern OS's being a certainty to work.
  18. As always, the go to guy. Message sent
  19. Does anyone know, do the aftermarket carbon finishers stick to the OEM finsher or do you remove the OEM and use the tape to fix them ? While wiping my door shuts this weekend, stupidly I lent on my drivers side one and busted the bottom clip
  20. I was 50/50 on the bonnet, didn't know it was CF. Thought he had just put clearcoat over the primer they come in
  21. Reading the add, looks well worth a viewing. Run on good oil, filter choice is a little dubious. But other than that seems like they have spent on the car whenever its needed it. Good brake components used. As Sim said, have a good look at it, CAT C so check the repair standards. Considering its up for 350 money, nothing lost by looking at it
  22. Good news indeed, must be a bad ground or knackered wire somewhere then. Sometimes electrical gremlins are worse than a mechanical issue. Harder to get to the bottom of.
  23. Hahaha blame accepted, responsibility denied
