Its all relative....I think mixed driving 22-24 mpg...I have the automatic which is 7 speed and sits at 2.3k at 70mph. I was getting up to 38mpg at 60mph in restricted motorway. The 370 is lighter than the BMW with a lot less tech and features. Less to go wrong. Regarding tax thats when the tax rules changed. April 2017 was also based on cost of car being less than £40,000 new which many dealers sold discounted from 2018- 2020. I got my 6 month old Nismo in 2017 14k of New List price. That was then now the 2020s with low miles are around £30-£35,000

They had no choice. According to the insider expose posted over a year ago they were not willing to build a new platform for a tiny segment on the dawn of electrification. It was a low cost investment at a time when Nissan were in huge debt. One of the main reasons for going ahead was they wanted a halo car to bring attention back to Nissan. The compromise was to build a rebodied 370Z....Take it or leave it. Also the fact Nissan refused to change the grill from concept or tune the engine or gearbox means they decided a lower cost strategy. So people will have issues i cant see Nissan addressing anything that isnt urgent. As far as theyre concerned theyve done their bit.

Was reading the chat on savagegeese documentary, biggest complaint is the pricing. Obviously was laughing my head off at the comments. If Toyota price their manual Supra at 48-50k USD then that will be a problem

Mate 😂... Nissan could have made it lighter than the current car. Im seeing average 190 lbs heavier combined with real tires a lighter car would do better. Its a tough ask against a V8 and Zupra with a faster gearbox. So that being said £35,000 is the most this cars worth considering its not a new car underneath lol Lastly if you benchmarked against "Captain Supra" why are they still taking an L. Tires okay can run it back. The cars still heavier with a slower auto. Tough ask. If Nissan had retuned this engine for more torque and extra ponies it may be a different result. This engine is down on torque compared to the supra and mustang. Looks like an easy drop in with no refinements to engine or gearbox?! So actual improvements lay mainly in the manual with flat foot shifts and better ratios...

Nice documentary. Only kidding couldn't fit in the Supra 😂 There are many reasons mentioned in the video why the car could not be made 5-7 years ago! A new platform was possible but not affordable. The smaller investment made more sense. I dont think they should bother with a Nismo if its not 50-75 hp bump along with functioning aero and sports seats over the standard car. Just leave it at the standard spec and proto. Nismo needs to be different or whats the point?!

Have you checked out my review I owned 2 Nismos both with different issues 370Z Nismo Review Also not mentioned first one had clutch smell under load clutch was slipping at 3000 miles Tramlining was also an issue. Brakes were fading. Uprated hawk pads and motul solved oem brake fade. Make sure you test drive as tramlining affects some not all Nismos. Full system as youve said is not necessary. Tails are good enough but offer minor drone. Make sure theyre resonated. Well done on initial research, as you cant expect us to do your homework like some people have in the past. 🤧 yes they are very slow sellers that due to the niche factor. Everyone wants what their mate has. Makes great Instagram pictures. Bahhh 😂

You looking at Invidia or Ark? Im hearing Invidia is quiet with standard cats. £1260 on Ebay. Maybe a lot less drone than short tails Let me know if youre selling short tails as my car is just a weekend car. So noise is ok.

For me the lights are not wide enough. The only real difference is the straightness of the rear Whereas the mustang has a sloping rear not completely straight down. I don't think the design is bold in any way. Its a bit german and safe to be honest. The unibody gives the rear quarter a more prominent appearance. Thats about it. The only reason Americans are saying its better looking than the 370Z is because its new. While the 370Z looks dated. I rather stick to a 370Z Nismo in terms of looks its superior and im very tempted in future to get a nismo for keeps lol. Unfair comparison maybe. I cant see the Nismo being amazingly better looking than the standard car. Not in the same way the 370 nismo v2 is transformed from standard car. Can reference the red car showcased few weeks ago a slight improvement. with front bumper and arch liners.

Yep. Only covers worth using are dust covers inside a dry air-conditioned garage. Ive been talking to my brother about us installing one in the garage and expanding to be able to store another 2 cars lol Not like its being rented out or extended at the moment. Covers in general not ideal in our weather. If you lived in a consistently dry country then sure. Morning sweats are no good for the car. Had that with the Nismo so stopped using it.

12 mins for exhaust How do you avoid the two tone and get a unibody that offer 370 type flare to the rear quarters. I havent seen the spec list lately. If Unibody is only available with base trims then id rather get that and mod
