  1. Onwards and upwards. A few years of GTR then new Z maybe 👀
  2. New branding incoming...Supras a better buy but im too tall.
  3. 17 onwards Z tend to hold value better. My first Nismo 17 platei bought at £26000 racked up 8,000 miles i sold at £25800 was for sale recently at £26999....Thats 30,000 miles later and crashing through Halfords... Plus it was registered a month before meaning £600 road tax.
  4. Depends who you ask lol...Only issues i had with mine were oil leak easily sorted and starter motor. Whereas HR have the early 370 issues like Oil Gallery etc. Also £600 road tax. HR are quick cars I drove next to one when I had the 370 Nismo and theres not much in it. Although that was tuned. Get a good one that has had issues addressed.
  5. HRs are great. I had a DE. A lot of low down torque. They dont seem to have the same issues.
  6. Whatever you save youll spend. Happened to me lol
  7. 981 GTS not many and looks the business. I suppose its one of those stranger things car the Chevy. If you dont try it you wouldn't know. I can see how it would do amazing things on the ring with the right setup and chassis. Like the GTR in 08 no one was expecting a heavy car like that to give Porsche any trouble. At the time was spanking a lot of competition. You got a point there with certain cars can suprise you
  8. Markets a joke man petrol prices dont help.i gave my mark 2 away for 17k......I bet he,ll be relieved if the guy actually shows up and finalizes the sale
  9. Sounds reasonable for the type of car. 981 GTS. Not many for sale.
  10. ..Do ppl check mpg when going above a V6?! Just put a 100 pounds for the weekend. Youll live 😂 3.4 Cayman is a good shout once the Common issues are sorted. Theyve all gone up. What about the 2.7.
  11. How does it handle? For 40k its good value no doubt. I suppose a twin turbo built Nismo would cost around £45k with similar power. if its 1500-1700kg then thats ok at 7:37 handling may be decent with a skilled driver
  12. The Nismo looks nice though. Endless positive comments from everyone and non car ppl. Its not a V8 but still. Its economical enough for a high displacement
  13. Depends My brothers 2015 911 Carrera had a £1000 service before he wrote it off. Customer service craps on other brands. Full video of work done and what needs doing. Tyres were 21 at the back and 20 in the front. I think they would be similar to Z bar the odd service and tires. End of the day what should service be on a £80,000 car.
  14. https://m.facebook.com/groups/thenissanz/permalink/2919761801662387/ First write off
  15. technology has really advanced you dont even need to type anymore...😂
  16. Im thinking the guy who did my disc skimming may be able to do it. Not sure, but Andy James recommended him.
  17. One advantage would be the amount of RAF jets that fly by in certain part of Lake District. Whats the name of this town @DoogyRev
  18. Only ever been to Cardiff. Might as well even though Im not in the midlands. Will have to stop over in the Cotswolds before and after. Hopefully have the exhaust on by then. Hope the weathers clear. 1. davey_83 2. Justthejedi 3. tauvp 4. GranTurismoEra
  19. theyve listed it at £16800 which is decent price tbh. Hope you got decent money for it!
  20. With the mk1 i know someone that got the alcantara door cards and kneepads from the mk2. The alcantara door cards come with GT Edition as well. Improved over stock. There are some ppl that arent willing to do any mods themselves that would still buy for sure.
  21. The dealer owner blamed the internet manager for the 50k markup mishap. Sure..on the brighter side... 2023 Nissan Z Dyno tested at Z Car Garage. Back in June we spent a week with the new Z at our shop. In addition to driving the Z on our favorite back roads we also dyno tested it, in stock form with 91 octane it made 379hp/375tq at the wheels. With a splash of 100 octane we saw gains of almost 10hp at the wheels. Super excited to tune the new Z and unlock more power. We could not resist test fitting wheels so for fun we mounted a set of Volk TE37 Ultra Track Edition 2 and WORK Emotion CR2P from our generous clients. The Z was placed on scales, coming in at ~3455lbs. See the dyno run and more photos on zcarblog.com
  22. I like Maxtons bodykits. Very simple and not overdone especially on the GT. The wraps a bit different. I can understand ppl wanting a different look.
