  1. I think theres a guy in France who has 1 of them. Former race driver. Hes got the road legal version. Think the second is in Nissan museum in Japan. Might be wrong. Hes on Instagram.
  2. Dont sell now. Wait till April/May to get higher price! Some sit there for months up to 5/6 months
  3. Not sure can check out the local meets section/ National meets. I think aside from the usual Jap Fest etc only know of Ace Cafe in June. I dont go to many meets as I prefer Z or jap only not mixed meets
  4. Short tails pop naturally. But theyre not asbo. 2 to 4 pops if the exhaust is hot above a certain temperature. I didnt find any issue between 60-80 mph with cruise control on. If accelerating youll get some drone. Id definitely get Resonated be interesting to see the difference with 7th gear as the revs sit at 2.1k to 2.5k 60-80mph
  5. Car looks familiar, think it was bought recently could be wrong. A lot of owners in London are not on the forums.
  6. Safe European design. In fact retro- futuristic is what many manufacturers will go for as they all move to EV. That means straighter design and sharp edges like the ioniq 5. I dunno is "Fairlady Z" meant to be a butch muscular lady or a slender runway model? 😂
  7. Are you based in Wembley? Nice Nismo.
  8. No rush to get an EV. One more generation of Mustang before it all changes I reckon. Good buy.
  9. Futures probably Electric/Alternative Fuels then older combustion engines being taxed off the roads in UK Last new car will be something fun, something I know wont need repairs or a million recalls. I suspect imports of new cars will be banned so the used market will get stronger. Id like to try a GR Yaris or 86 at some point as brand new cars possibly or delivery miles. 86 unlikely as its only on sale for 2 years till 2024. Depends on what type of experience someone wants. I like the idea of something lightweight geared towards track or enthusiast use Manufacturers will keep making combustion engines for export to America, Asia and Africa. IE Aston Martin
  10. Yeah you can go directly towards Ealing from Hanger Lane into Kew. There is traffic that way depends sometimes. Easier to leave early everyone has the same idea by 8AM though
  11. Heathrow exit just hell....Shame youre on the inner M25. If you were on the outside id say go through Windsor/Ascot/Slough Better roads and get on the M40 and its plain sailing till you hit the 40 all the way to Hanger Lane. Traffic getting off A40 onto the A406 another car park with lots of idiot drivers. Since youre all in a convoy youll have to sit in it unless you leave at 8-9.
  12. Daily and Track use Nismo! Good driving
  13. Saturday traffic begins at 10AM till 2pm in that area. Earlier is better.
  14. its not going to be 50k forever if you're buying used. After a year and some miles they'll be going for 35-40k possibly 30k depending on the used market in 18 to 24 months and beyond LC500 is another category of car. The Z will run rings around the LC500 couple with the fact its around 300-400kg lighter. Youre not going to track an lc500. Whereas you can track and daily the Zed. There are rumours its lighter than the 370Z. No one knows how good or bad the 9 speed will be. It may be better acceleration wise and on the track than the Supra. Conveniently Manual Supra is rumoured to be coming out but at 50k plus. Once the hype dies down the Z will be more accessible price wise cheaper than the Supra on the used market. People waiting for the Nismo should expect to pay $55k which is what the Supra costs. I cant see a huge power hike. A bodykit, different seats and lowered for another £10k on top. The standard car will sell in the states and Canada as the alternatives are more expensive. Not to mention there are enough enthusiasts willing to buy it. There are people who are buying their first Nissan according to newnissanz and zclub forums. I know its hard to believe lol I dont know enough about the C8, although i heard about reliability issues when one youtuber drove across America.
  15. theyre usually for sale for a while on Autotrader as well as convertible. A couple of grand at least. I call this the US spec.
  16. Ill find out soon enough but i saw a video... People from other countries attend...You must have your reasons. There are pros and cons to both mixed and specific car meets. I dont attend many tbh
  17. Always good to keep the oem exhaust incase. Good to see Z owners in Europe where German cars dominate. Ever got to the biggest Z meet in Europe held in Germany. Its probably been affected by Covid.
  18. Nissan are gathering feedback on it and its based on the Fairlady 432R. Theyll then decide if to sell it in Japan and US
  19. Sorry £44,k is apparently top proto spec estimate. Actual pricing and spec list will be announced in April Base Grade I saw starting around 4.8 million Yen. We shall see what Version S and ST will cost probably near 6 million.
  20. Mate..... with the used car market set to continue staying strong due to chip shortage and cost of new cars...If anyone is hoping for swift depreciation youll be waiting a while. 370z Nismos in Japan are north of £30,000. So £44,000 assumed UK price if released here would have been short. So yes if you wanted it brand new you would need to part with near £60,000 to clear. If the car cost £44,000 specced add 30% to that another £15000 youre looking at £60,000 if you know the shipper on a first name basis and hes only charging £1000 to ship. But hey no ones buying brand new unless youre a dealer etc...crazy money for a 370Z rebodied. Its not a new car from the ground up. At £60k you could get a near new M4 lol or Cayman. I dont even think your standard drive off the lot knock £10k off would apply here while the hype is still there for at least 6 months to a year. The Supra in 2 years has depreciated by £14000 but thats going by the fact its extremely low sales. Id say unless youre willing to pay around £35k just to buy the car itself used or down the line youll need to wait around 3 to 5 years and hope no one wants the damn thing lol. Based on current used market worldwide its not going to depreciate by much. Oh the BRZ GR86 is around £23000 in Japan. Might need to look again. Crazy difference. Theyre capitalizing on the hype. Cant blame them lol. 6.9 million Yen for Proto spec. Still cheaper than a Supra by £10,000
  21. The new Nissan Z has just been unveiled for the Japanese market where it will be dubbed the Fairlady Z. Debuting at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Fairlady Z will go on sale in Japan from the end of June and has the same basic specifications as the North American model. Prices in the local market will start at 6,966,300 yen ($61,218). £44,496.45 Japanese customers will have a number of different Fairlady Z variants to choose from. The range will consist of the base Fairlady Z, the Version S, the Version ST, and the Proto Spec, each of which can be optioned with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic gearbox. As in overseas markets, the car is powered by the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged VR30DDTT V6 first used by a handful of Infiniti models. This engine is good for 400 hp and 350 lb-ft (475 Nm) of torque between 1,600 rpm and 5,600 rpm with power sent exclusively to the rear wheels. It takes inspiration from the original Nissan Z Proto unveiled in 2020 and is finished in Squid Yellow with a Super Black roof and wing mirrors.
