Sorry £44,k is apparently top proto spec estimate. Actual pricing and spec list will be announced in April Base Grade I saw starting around 4.8 million Yen. We shall see what Version S and ST will cost probably near 6 million.

Mate..... with the used car market set to continue staying strong due to chip shortage and cost of new cars...If anyone is hoping for swift depreciation youll be waiting a while. 370z Nismos in Japan are north of £30,000. So £44,000 assumed UK price if released here would have been short. So yes if you wanted it brand new you would need to part with near £60,000 to clear. If the car cost £44,000 specced add 30% to that another £15000 youre looking at £60,000 if you know the shipper on a first name basis and hes only charging £1000 to ship. But hey no ones buying brand new unless youre a dealer etc...crazy money for a 370Z rebodied. Its not a new car from the ground up. At £60k you could get a near new M4 lol or Cayman. I dont even think your standard drive off the lot knock £10k off would apply here while the hype is still there for at least 6 months to a year. The Supra in 2 years has depreciated by £14000 but thats going by the fact its extremely low sales. Id say unless youre willing to pay around £35k just to buy the car itself used or down the line youll need to wait around 3 to 5 years and hope no one wants the damn thing lol. Based on current used market worldwide its not going to depreciate by much. Oh the BRZ GR86 is around £23000 in Japan. Might need to look again. Crazy difference. Theyre capitalizing on the hype. Cant blame them lol. 6.9 million Yen for Proto spec. Still cheaper than a Supra by £10,000

The new Nissan Z has just been unveiled for the Japanese market where it will be dubbed the Fairlady Z. Debuting at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Fairlady Z will go on sale in Japan from the end of June and has the same basic specifications as the North American model. Prices in the local market will start at 6,966,300 yen ($61,218). £44,496.45 Japanese customers will have a number of different Fairlady Z variants to choose from. The range will consist of the base Fairlady Z, the Version S, the Version ST, and the Proto Spec, each of which can be optioned with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic gearbox. As in overseas markets, the car is powered by the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged VR30DDTT V6 first used by a handful of Infiniti models. This engine is good for 400 hp and 350 lb-ft (475 Nm) of torque between 1,600 rpm and 5,600 rpm with power sent exclusively to the rear wheels. If it looks like another car im sure its purely coincidental. I prefer an angular grill and hope there will be numerous options available including a Nismo version 1 style and an angular vented grill with redesign for aftermarket. According to rumours it will cost more in Japan than in US. Around £44000 or $61,000 for proto spec not accounting for markups. Close to 7,000,000 Yen. There will be Version S, ST and Proto Spec. Looks like youll probably save money importing from the US and use the difference to clear the car. £44,000 is a rumour for Proto spec but expected price for Japanese market. Supra is still £54,000 new in Japan without discounts. I think this might be an exaggeration as $20,000 above US price in the home market while possible doesn't add up. I think US price will be higher and Nissan USA cant guarantee prices. Average being around $45-$50000

Yes straight to the point compared to the anime which has more of a backstory. There is new anime adaptation coming out in 2023 as a sequel to Initial D anime series. Called MF Ghost. Cant wait, been years. Sorry to hijack beats opening a new thread!

It looks okay. Id go for something darker though or a standard dark grey. They should prioritize unibody colours. Not everyone wants black combined with every colour. The diffuser is understandable.

I ordered them yesterday morning from a different supplier arrived this morning. We ll see how it goes. -
Spotted in Japan with a Fairlady Z badge on the back written the classic way. Looks like the Performance trim with LSD. Still no curb weight yet. Apparently no Nismo version at Tokyo motor show. I guess this could be the retail version. Or the import that will end up here. I'm hoping the language can be configured between English and Japanese on the dash and center console. So just under 6 months till release.

They may be originals Ive ordered new sensors. Worth a try. Process of elimination. They say cold weather affects the pressure by lowering it. So over inflate by 3-4 psi is a good trick. The new sensors should last 5 to 10 years. I doubt its the TPMS module hopefully not as need to be ordered from Nissan. -

It is also essential that we ensure modern vehicles remain cyber secure throughout their lifetime, and that any modifications do not make them vulnerable to malicious cyber-attacks. The MOT test is an important part of ensuring that vehicles on our roads are safe and roadworthy. However, we must also recognise that the MOT test is fundamentally an inspection of a vehicle as presented at the time of a test and can only be a simple check. There are risks in relying solely upon the MOT test to tackle harmful tampering. For example, it only includes basic checks for the presence and/or function of certain emissions control equipment and is not proof that the relevant emissions standards are being met. Its an exclamation mark. Im working with them to rectify. Replacing one sensor could be a good test to see if any data is being received. If they were all installed at the same time 9-10 years ago at factory. Is it possible theyve all died simultaneously as battery life is 10 years. Its a 2012 Car. -
All 4 wheel sensors not returning data. Ive been to the garage and i Received a print out of the issue. The light came on after 4 days of buying the car. The light was reset by my local garage and returned 2 days later. Would a good test be to fit a new sensor and see of the ECU picks it up? Also is there some kind of receiver on the ecu that could be faulty. Do they work using radio frequency? Im scheduled to take it back to the garage for further investigation. RAC warranty are saying main dealer will have me footing some of the bill.
