5AM 24 Hour Tesco! is your best bet. .They said they will reduce opening hours so it might be tricky Online shopping arent really taking anymore bookings till next month. I had to ask my mate 30 miles away to get me a 9 pack of loo roll as they have been sold out for 2 weeks...my brother got given 4 out of a pack in Asda....i said to him just take what you need and give me the rest lol......lots of people are not panic buying but they are going to the shops more often than they need to while others are going as a group and splitting up and buying 1 each and returning to the same household. My mate claims he saw this coming They live outside London so dont have the extreme queues and completely empty shelves. He also works as a tesco delivery driver. So the people you see with one bottle of whisky in their basket or like my brother having the **** taken out of him for having an empty basket have already bought their stuff 2 - 3 weeks ago when people werent panicking. Unfortunately most people didnt think it would get this bad but it has. Someone mentioned takeaway, I have heard that people are preparing food not taking taking the proper precautions. I would be wary Ive been doing a thing of only eating once a day on saturdays and sundays for the last year when possible. Think its good practice for when the time comes and you can only have one meal a day because that rice will only last 2 - 4 weeks! "it wont get that bad"....I cant gaurantee I wont catch this virus either... In Tesco Metro if you time it you can get a 5KG bag of rice along with Cereal and they have started rationing pasta and rice to 3 small packs per person after sainsburys have for the last week. A pain in the ass but you will have to phone around and ask if someone can pick these up especially around opening time. 5KG bag of rice can last you close to a month. Sooner or later there wont be anything left at all. Thats why the Army would be useful in restricting the numbers entering these stores and enforcing prioritisation of the elderly and disabled via rations. I'm all for that The slow reactions are funny. As a CEO of a chain like TESCO why havent they had security restricting the numbers in stores, the numbers of items people can check out at the tills like Sainsburys. With restrictions of hours and item numbers you can restock shelves. The elderly priority hours of say 7AM to 10AM Monday - Friday make sense as it keeps general public away. Also carers etc can be given passes to buy items at those times for their patient or person they are looking after. Ive not seen one elderly person stockpiling anytime i have been in store. TBH its easier to restock a superstore with 100 elderly people in a time frame of 2 - 3 hours than it is with a 100 general joe public as they tend to clear the aisles quicker without consideration No one else should be allowed in at that time. But you need private security, police or the army to enforce that

13K bargain and steal of the century for a 65 Plate. Saved a good 3 - 5k + there! usually around 16 - 17k. More deals like that and could see more people buying them. The Pennines, lucky you!

Lockdown compared to Italy is not being allowed to leave your home. Only being allowed to go to the shops to get urgent supplies. That being local. The Chinese lockdown basically didnt allow anyone to leave a catchment area unless they were medical staff, police or military. Its up to you whether you take it seriously or not. No ones saying you need to go out and buy 500 pasta bags and kitchen rolls etc. Just be wary. Judging by the amount of events such as Euros being postponed till next summer I think its kind of serious. I live in London ive seen the real empty shelves. Its happening more so here than anywhere else. Yes I get it people are stupid for panic buying and overreacting. Thats human nature, no one wants to die in a worse case scenario. What did you expect? Not everyone will react the same. Ive seen people with one or two items leaving the store, while others had their baskets packed. We dont know what the future holds, dont judge people for being scared and worried. How do you know its all based on media. It might just be reactionary. Seeing how others are buying everything they too want something for themselves. Just because youre not worried doesnt mean others are not allowed to be. Weve had waves like this before and there are going to be more which could be more severe. Either way theyll let us know what the next step is. Thats just my two cents.

Is this still going ahead?
-
Have you seen whats going on in Italy, Spain and France in terms of lockdown and restrictions as well as deaths. Is that an exaggeration?
-
Carry on as normal and hope "Herd Immunity" Solves the problem. Its just that people don't want to give up their social lives for 2 weeks to a month to reduce the spread. I mean people in Italy are still trying to have a private night life when they have been warned, ignoring all the warnings. Some people have claimed it is not as bad as flu while others have died. Which is it.... UK is still behind the peak of the curve. So any drastic action needs to see more deaths in the 100s to a thousand. . Needs must, I have no issue with Army being deployed to drive emergency vehicles and blockades to stop people leaving catchment areas. They have to do what they have to do to control the spread. UKs lackadaisical attitude has been interesting. Maybe the plan is to have the masses infected hoping for herd immunity and they know they will lose some along the way. Crazy tactic but wouldn't put it past Government. That way when push comes to shove you don't have to treat people with pre existing conditions or prioritize less likely to survive patients. Or they can say not enough beds sorry, stay home and try and recover. Elderly are being told to stay at home. My mom hasnt been anywhere public in a week or two. Best thing really. Why risk it. The flight ban by trump came a little too late,. My brother came from Lanzarote last week unchecked. Some are claiming they filled in forms which went to nobody

All good. Was originally going to come with a mask and gloves then leave by midday anyway. means more time in bed and maybe going for a country lane blast with the windows up in the morning. Can imagine someone sneezing while crossing the road then catching a whiff of those germs with the windows down

MPS4S premium 285/19/35 103 Y -
Looking to replace the current MPSS with MPS4s. I couldnt see any deals on Black Circle. Ill keep looking. I was just wondering if they are run flats or are there different ranges that offer Runflats. Id prefer non runflats as I heard runflats give a stiffer ride. Price wise not much difference. Id consider both runflats and non runflats. What price should I be looking for a pair. Last I checked in December they were around £360 a pair. Right now I can see £480

My old mate had one with a Meisterschaft GTC and Decat. Sounded crazy. Very loud cold start

Whats the survival rate for age ranges over 50....I wouldn't be in a rush to catch it
-
If you really want to catch Coronavirus and get it out of the way early as opposed to later when services are overstretched. They are paying people £3500 as human guinea pigs. If you die there must be a get out clause of them not having to pay a penny. Small print

Its just a scenario no ones told anyone anything . Its like when the Jehovahs witnesses say you should have a small waterproof safe and keep vital documents and emergency fruit bars incase of sudden mass flooding or natural disaster. Because who knows what will happen. Whether you want to believe it or not is another story Because Dry or Brown Dry Pasta/Rice only needs heat and water to cook. Or you could eat rations, bread, fruit anything that doesnt require prep. You could survive on that . That would be priority over stockpiling toilet roll, which people will blow their nose or wipe their backside with. Soap and water will minimize infection and its spread. Surely that's more critical than stockpiling loo roll. Yes specialist foods and specialist diets will be off limits. Only the basic foods would be widely available. I have a colleague whos wife works in Government and shes been told that the death rate needs to reach 500 before they consider a lockdown similar to Italy for a minimum 2 weeks to contain further spread. People say well thats unlikely because like 5 people died over a week period. If you see other countries the increase of infected and dead can increase or decrease suddenly. Just depends.

people should be stockpiling dry pasta, soap and water instead. This is just the tip of the iceberg

Supercharged Amuse 370z for sale - only 29k miles - SOLD
GranTurismoEra replied to Beb's topic in Zeds For Sale
Its a good price considering the amount of work. No need to lower just yet. Id say give it a month or so. Very tempting indeed. Summers coming . -
Very slow sellers. So had to drop the price. I remember dropping mine to 4k 4 years ago still had timewasters.
-
Yes from the games back then it was the 350z. Now with Need for Speed Heat, The Crew, Forza Horizon the 370 is in those games. I remember playing the Crew few years ago and I had a 800 HP 370Z lol....so some kids know already more than adults what car it is. As they hardly see them in real life, Its a nice suprise when one pulls up more so than the GTR

Check Engine Light from Doing Donuts. But hey cross America trip very good content!
-
Recently sold a 350Z 2004 DE with 37,000 miles for £6500...Thats a rare price. But you should get a 50-60k miler at that price tbh. More or less youd get a 60-80k miler for that price in summer

Theres a video circulating of people infected with the virus spitting in lifts in China and rubbing it in on the buttons and doors. Better purchase 100x black latex gloves for public use and take some sanitizer with you. Hopefully it doesn't catch on here. Crazy
-
They hold value while under 40 years. After that the depreciation begins. She looks very young though...borderline illegal
-
Yes a middle mileage DE, prices have started creeping up as summers approaching
-
Just use water.....That is all
