  1. One of the traders will probably explain it. There's a thread on the US forum with about a hundred pages of Vortech Q&A if you are struggling for answers.... and have plenty of spare time.
  2. You're right. Fuel pump injectors and a tune is doable. I think some of the tuners are keen on the fuel return system either for bigger gains or longevity. I just run the full kit from Vortech.
  3. Impressive amount of work done to that car. You must be running out of jobs to do on her now. What the heck else is left?
  4. Bet you've scared the crap out of the postman in there Oscar.. Do you build up exercising in the cold then once you've more tolerance? I'm sure that crazy Russian kettle-bell guy recommends it..
  5. I like the one on the right with 3 tyre brands in it. Mixing ftw. Seriously though, Jap cars can take stickers all day. Go for it.
  6. If you want to drive on track a lot then the mx5 makes most sense. Its so much easier to work on and parts are so cheap. 60 quid for a gearbox for example. If you get a chunky daily you could trailer the 5 easily too. The boosted Mazda is a shade quicker than the Zed but feels much crazier and like more of an 'event' when you drive it. But I suppose you could say that about a bike or a quad. A lot of it comes down to what you prefer. I like the feel of the big car that pulls forever and handles better than it gets credit for
  7. That's right cheered me up. What a choice. Fair play to you and the Missus. Had that car in the same colour for a long time. Should have kept it.

I've got a stronger aftermarket one I don't need. Collection from Leeds if you're interested.
  9. They can be a bit intermittent and don't always show signs of failure even on a multimeter. Sometimes it's heat dependent. I identified one by cooling them in situ when running but I'm not sure how advisable that is. Am no mechanic. Usually you at least get a p0300 random misfire code for coils though or if you're lucky the cylinder number too. So it sounds like it could be something else.
  10. That's crazy that it gave you the codes but fixing those bits didn't solve it. My revup played up and didn't give accurate codes when coils were failing and when a Cat had collapsed.
  11. SlideMotorsport. Have had lots of work done by them. They're towards Barnsley
  12. Bit of a tangent there but you're dead right. There are obviously loads of valid excuses for speeding...
  13. Great info. Proper Columbo work there too. Thanks for posting it.
  14. You'll be keeping the old battery topped up and in reserve then... ..unlikely to need it you'd think all the same. Must be able to manage the 7 or 8 starts we do on the day despite the low miles covered.
  15. 2 stone lighter? From the front end? Brilliant. I thought it was £400 plus. I'll see how you go on for reliability before shamelessly copying your trailblazing. Will bring jump leads to the next event whenever that is too.
  16. You could but how would you decide who got the faster looking one
  17. I've got an ITG and a Cosworth filter that have only got a couple of 100 miles on each. It sounds unlikely but I used them for hillclimbing events only and dropped a standard one back in in between events. Have no use for them now as gone SC. £35 for the pair posted.
  18. I've got a couple for sale, each with only a couple of hundred miles on. A Cosworth and an ITG foam. I'll get a for sale thread up with some pics if anyone is interested.
  19. That looks like a prime candidate for just uber deliveries. The roads are empty... I'm sorting out a food delivery route to isolated villages in North Yorks.
  20. Yep, I'm with you on that. Hard to know how all this will finish but its hard to imagine it'll go back to normal. Who knows, not me, I'd take a bet but the bookies are closed. Probably one of the upsides
  21. Cheers fella. And yours. I can't see how Gordon Brown, Ken Bruce and Gary Lineker are not even taking a 1percent cut to throw back into the pot. I'll pm you my circumstances if you want coz you think Im bitter but I think my arguments stand without that being aired here
  22. I thought what I said was a reasonable point? Lots of people are getting screwed but some are insulated for no good reason. I'll be fine through this BTW. The daft thing is Ill probably profit but I know lots of people who will be finished
