  1. Watching this post with interest as I'm in the same situation.
  2. MOT passed with Berk HFC and 0% CO2 on print out which I find odd. Advisory on rear discs and pads but that's being sorted next week. This basically means the modding fund is intact Very happy bunny.
  3. Blimey I'm not surprised it attracted positive comments in an Audi dealership. Every man and his dog drives a clinically bland looking Audi these days. I struggle to tell one Audi from another on the road
  4. Looks good Just needs some wing mirrors with integrated indicator lights so you can remove them from the wings.
  5. Loved the bonnet vents you boys put in. I assume there are bits ready to fill the new holes
  6. I've test driven a few porshe models over the years some better than others. My fave has to be the previous gen Cayman S. Never been a massive 911 fan tbh and preferred the 928. The interiors always seemed well screwed together and functional though.
  7. Hopefully a nice run beforehand should see a pass the HFCS are only a couple of months old. Fingers crossed. I've heard it's 50 50.
  8. I've been working in Basingstoke for the past year on and off at the eni building on basing view Seen quite a few Zeds around there when I used to work in Viables for Sony (last year)... Wife takes the zed to the car park every day (well she used to up till May): there was always a zed or two that parked next to her is that anyone here? A. Not me as my office is in Daneshill
  9. I'm still reeling with laughter over the things Donald Trump is spouting let alone old Westy giving it large. The planet is doomed
  10. These are great fun to drive good choice.
  11. Someone will snap your arm off for the rear lights. I would but can't for a couple of weeks which is typical lol.
  12. Looks damn nice mate.
  13. Just wanted to show my appreciation and say thanks to Bob for supplying me with a good nick thick boot carpet and cargo net tonight. Items are in top order and spending an hour or so talking shop made it a sociable visit too. Thanks again for holding them for me until I could get down to collect, top man. Love the new lights and other mods on your car too.
  14. Bob has come up trumps on this one thanks for the replies
  15. Both my doors look like they've been strafed by a machine gun I do my best to park leaving plenty of room and not next to cars with baby seats etc, however they magically appear! I won't bother getting it sorted until I move the car on.
  16. All I know is this, if I wanted to buy my old E46 back it would cost me a grand more than I paid for it originally! Typical! Don't get me started on my old NSX as that's gone skyward in price! Missed the boat is the phrase that fits my lack of vision when it comes to keeping appreciating assets
  17. Nothing wrong with a 182, proper wheel cocking buffoonery to be had there and good fun.
  18. As in the title I'm looking for a cargo net or a boot divider. Also a thicker boot carpet. Thanks
  19. I'm running these now and I'm pretty impressed with them.
  20. I would go for A based on the fact they will take less time to clean than B. A shallow response granted
  21. I try to make sure I'm stationary when using the washers unless the visibility is that bad I need it. It's usually bad enough when I use them the windows uo anyway.
  22. Less chassis feedback on the E46 power to peaky top end of the rev counter, to many turns lock to lock on the wheel unless CS rack is fitted. Brakes are shocking in standard form and fade very quickly. I had a manual so unable to comment on the SMG. Better interior obviously but I found seats to wide even with electric bolsters. In my humble opinion the Z feels much better to drive full stop. That's why I sold the M3 and bought the Z. The E92 M3 is much much better all round.
  23. Looks stupid full stop. Back in my day 17 inch wheels filling the arches was the thing lol. Then the wheels got bigger and now the latest thing especially with VW nuts it seems is stretching tyres over smaller rims. Looks gash IMO but hey I'm old and maybe I'm just stuck in my ways I also managed to avoid the sheeple trend of getting tattoos as they always reminded me of sailors and the monkeys that worked on fairgrounds. It's going to be odd relaxing on the beach in my 60s with nothing but saggy faded tats everywhere!
