No, you're not, you're just trying to be patronising, that's all
Don't you start matey, just get those Cats sorted. All this cash I've spent on car bits recently could have bought me a watch!
Well I had a nice dinner this evening certainly not pointless as food is essential to making the most of our meaningless existence lol. A wrist gadget is pointless to me as I don't have a need or indeed find any pleasure or fun in it.Like I said if it's your thing fill your boots I'm happy for you, honestly
XKR is within budget and I've seen a nice 57 plater with dealer stamps 26k miles for a shade under 25k. Tax is about 550 a year it would seem.
Oh I'm going to have a test drive for sure. Thanks for your input much appreciated.
I loved the day my mobile phone replaced my wristwatch as a timepiece, I absolutely hated wearing a watch.
The last thing I want now is another wrist piece. I'm assuming it replaces the need to carry a phone?
The miltek is very quiet with the standard cats in place. I suppose the only definitive answer as Ekona says will be to fit them and find out.I have a sneaking suspicion though that the miltek system won't create an issue unless someone on here has experience of it.
All I'm interested in is getting the CEL off tbh I took the standard cats off as they were rusty and blowing. Replaced them with second hand standard cats only to find one of them (bank 2) was shot.Sensors replaced just in case but diagnostic confirmed the cat was shot. So I figured HFCs were cheap and may assist a targeted sale as all the new owner would need to do is the breathing mods etc.
Oh for sure that would be the plan, plenum spacer etc. I was just trying to ascertain if I could get away with not doing the map at all.
I have my beady eye on a Jag XK at the moment as my left knee is giving me trouble.
I managed to rip the door clean off an MG Metro I owned many moons ago whilst reversing back with the door open in my driveway
I failed to take into account one if my old dears ornamental stone flower pots.
How common a problem is it that hesitation occurs about 3k revs with HFCs fitted and no remap to compensate for resonance.
I've read that some people have issues but was wondering if the set up you have post cats makes a difference?
I have a Miltek fitted post cats that appears to be similar in design to the standard OEM set up so before fitting the Berk HFCs I have on order it would be nice to ascertain if a remap is a must.
I'm having some knee trouble on my clutch leg so I was considering one of these as the sequential boxes are supposed to be fairly good. Refined and fully auto when just cruising from A to B etc.I adore the Ian Callum Astonesque design.
Many moons ago I made it through 1700 applicants down to 40. Attended Wray Park in Reigate and failed the physical. Joined plod instead.Staying fit and relatively strong is a must as it's a physically demanding job. Most outfits now utilise a fair amount of retained staff and imagine the best route in would be as a part timer. At least that way you get a good insight and experience.
Living close to a station is a major plus. I work with a guy who does this, he can schedule his availability on an online rota. He does attend scheduled drill training sessions too.
