  1. Fueling issue maybe. You say it turns over but doesn't fire.
  2. Isn't there a church switch on these? Maybe that's knackered.
  3. Every year I receive a new quote slightly higher than the year before. My ritual is the same every time, a quick check of a comparison site to ascertain the cheapest quote. Then a call to my current insurer asking why after another claim free year I'm being charged more. I then ask to speak to a line manger where I rant on about loyalty and customer retention etc. After ten minutes or so I finally end up with a cheaper quote than seen online. Job done.
  4. Cheers Torqen can't wait to get them fitted.
  5. Same here. Mine had no movement on the ramp either. Changed both and all sorted. Also worth doing the droplinks at the same time for peace of mind.
  6. Someone on here maybe? It looked like an enthusiasts car 04 plate.
  7. My neck of the woods but unlikely it was me.
  8. I've been waiting nearly a month and everyone I call says there is a back order on these Cats.None in the country it would seem.
  9. I'm in Basingstoke mate but working nights until Monday I don't have an issue collecting Monday night if that's ok?
  10. Not my cup of tea tbh but each to their own.
  11. This is what I suspect, torqued to high. I've only had the car 7 months and not touched them in that time.
  12. Reminds me of a friend who popped a red top into a Nova but didn't upgrade the standard stoppers. Lucky were alive springs to mind
  13. So yesterday I took the Z for a nice spirited run on the local twisties. I arrived back home and as I drove towards the house it appeared as if my tracking was out. The car was steering slightly to the left but not enough to notice on an average road camber. Today I took her in for alignment at my local laser four wheel place. The site that greeted me as the car was raised sent a chill down the spine. The nearside rear camber bolt had sheared off and the thread was the only thing keeping it together. It could have been worse and is obviously a rare occurrence but worth mentioning on here just in case. The car is still in the garage awaiting £95 worth of new OEM nuts and bolts but at least it's there and not in a breakers yard somewhere.
  14. Haha I change mine every 6 months. This time however I'm on 7 months and counting.
  15. Probably the best wheels I've seen on a Z, stunning.
  16. Good shout on the mondy there. Nice torque especially in third.
  17. I'm either working or doing family oriented stuff. My son is 18 this year but my youngest is only 9 so years to go yet.My Z time is sacred and pottering in the garage is akin to a train set in the loft for others.
  18. I second the Focus estate option. Great chassis dynamic so close to the hatch it's barely distinguishable. Cheap to maintain and two a penny. I've owned several focuses since they were launched and every one bar a useless ST170 was brilliant.
