Touch more power than our 03-05 350z however US tuned suspension as the UK version had slightly better body control. At least it was the higher spec with leather, Brembo brakes and BOSE sound system however no remote audio or cruise control. Much wrong information in that review. "Datsun as Nissan was called back then" No Nissan were always Nissan however used Datsun to launch the brand overseas. "Renault engine in the 350z" again no it was a Nissan designed and built engine that Renault had used (lesser tuned) as a customer.

Definitely misconceptions following on from Clarkson's review of it back in the days, although much better drivers ie Vicki Butler-Henderson and Tiff Needell absolutely loved it.

Nearly 20 years from debut and with no new Z for Europe, is now the time for a 350? https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/nissan-350z--spotted/45064

Adjustable rear arms effecting toe and not camber?
davey_83 replied to Hayd350's topic in Suspension
When lowered less camber yields more toe in using factory toe arms https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111683-db-nissan-350z-gt-05/?do=findComment&comment=1842023 -
Adjustable rear arms effecting toe and not camber?
davey_83 replied to Hayd350's topic in Suspension
Rear cambers arms can change both camber and indirectly toe. If the adjustments are being done at a shop, they'll be able to dial it in to a sensible setting. -
Cheers pal From what I gather the exhaust was less than a year old when I bought it, so only a light clean up was needed. It's a stainless steel system inc tips - full write up seen below. https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111683-db-nissan-350z-gt-05/?do=findComment&comment=1830587

My guess is if you were to ask any F1 racing driver would you want to finish the race behind the safety car or battle it out to the finish line? No driver is going to say behind a safety car, IF the track is safe to use. We've all seen incidents whereby lapped cars are allowed to overtake the safety car in an effort to resume racing order. The matter of the cars behind Max not being also allowed to form an order to then go racing. So..... Why have Sainz potentially getting tangled with the leaders who will decide the championship. With two cars battling around a lap you're going much slower than you would normally, so a fast charging Ferrari isn't going to add any value to the conclusion of the championship. Even Norris who qualified 3rd on the grid said in an interview that at the start he would hang back and not get tangled with the lead pair as they battled for the title. Either way it's split milk

Fantastic race/season and the better driver won. Either the first lap or the last, Max drove the socks of that car. Had Max been provided with a capable car years back, Lewis wouldn't have won half his titles. In the past he has bullied Massa, Nico and Botas on track however against a competitor he can't bully he'll come off second best and evidently so. Well done Max

This week concludes 12 months of me doing the Wim Hof Method. Looking back at the calendar those early days of barely lasting 30 seconds in the cold shower and creeping up day by day were so exciting. Pushing myself further into the unknown and seeing if I had what it takes. Ice baths, open water swimming, mindful breathing exercises 3mins+ with no air in lungs *stress Every day I get a little win, as it still takes a pep talk to step forward into the cold shower. Over the last 12 months I've also read up about the benefits of a short term discomfort or stress. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5964013/ Our brother who is on and off fairly sick, 3 cats and having 3 kids in school is no wonder as probably doesn't suit his particular immune system. However has taken up cold showers for the last couple of months and goes he definitely feels the benefits already and reckons he'll keep it up. I'm still partial to a bit of heat every now and again mind. Would highly recommend the WIM to anyone, even just the mindful breathing exercises as what better time to naturally boost ones mood and immune system. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's changed my life, however definitely something il look to do for the rest of it. It's completely changed my relationship with the cold and living in England that's no bad thing. When I feel my mind racing away or that my posture isn't ideal, a round of the breathing be it at home or on the move really helps reset my thinking. While doing anything that requires more muscle usage than normal, I'd not tend to over breathe flooding my muscles with oxygen rich blood ahead of the drain *Wim Hof tip. Have a great Xmas all and remember who's birthday you're celebrating 😉

Looks like the gamble paid off pal. Seems a tasty bit of kit that, larger capacity, better fluid management with great clearance - win win win.

Yep, very much a harsh winter coming our way

Last weekend I went along to the club's Rolling Road Day held at MSL Performance. Prior check over needed for the vehicle and managed to sorted out an exhaust leak from the y pipe v band. Fitted a Tarmacsportz ally undertray whilst carrying out an oil change for good measure. Also gave me the chance to swap over to the winter wheels ready for the morning, along with raising the ride height 15mm. Structurally alot more supportive than the 16yr old factory plastic item and future oil & filter changes will be a cinch. Tyre pressures set to 34psi Wheel spacers on and ride height adjusted. In the shop 😄 Now time for a few pulls Best run 251whp and 242wtq As over on the meet thread, all enjoyed the morning and the friendly service from the team at MSL. The mix of FWD, RWD & AWD coupled with both modified and standard cars made this a really worthwhile meet, same dyno same day.

Overall a nice looking Z, might be worth you sticking an MOT on which will help the sale for this low mileage example.
