  1. Very nice build that is pal, not seen those wheels on a Z34 before - goes really well and that exhaust 😍
  2. Anyone can have an opinion and that's all it is. I'm on board with comments towards character, however "needs to learn some proper race craft" not even David Coulthard could preach to Max let alone anyone on here moreover it smacks of hubris. You wouldn't get the car around a single lap while pointing the right way.
  3. As she doesn't get used much over Winter and to help with water spotting, a couple of food bags will suffice.
  4. They should have. Never said anyone drives equally aggressive. I'm not a super fan of Max, just not a fan of Lewis the cry baby. When he's winner it's all smiles and he thanks the fans, the team, his team mate, his competitors and praises the car. When he looses however, the team is crap, Nico has the better mechanics the car is rubbish and the crowd can do one *attitude - never any blame accepted on his behalf for poor performance. He's not a good sport and has been bully on the track. Roll on 2022's season.
  5. This is like gogglebox when you see the folks giving criticism towards an x factor singer however brushing off the fact that never in a million lifetimes could they ever do better themselves. I could take onboard what you're saying if this was Max Vs Jenson discussion on driver aggressiveness. Lewis is known for his hard driving style and the years has left other drivers no other choice than to a say you say be hit or evade off track. Lewis tends to do it on corner exit, Max mid corner but running off is running off. All this about Lewis being a good sport.....
  6. Yes dangerous driving is bad of course it is and rightly penalties should be given accordingly. Should Lewis have given the place back on the first, lap running off the track to maintain place position?
  7. Rightly so, as he hit another car off the track having not been far enough forward to claim the corner.
  8. Good save there pal, thankfully our fronts don't wear down that quickly so shouldn't be miles tread wise to the other side.
  9. Absolutely nothing wrong with how he overtakes in a corner, it's legal and hasn't been told it's not above board. It's not the fastest way round a corner and therefore should be easy to defend by using the cut back. Lewis left the door wide open and Max went for it, as Masi said it's called a motor race.
  10. Saw this at Ace Cafe earlier in the year and it looks fantastic!!! All the very best with the sale, won't hang around long this one.
  11. No need to go all shaky Few tweaks and driven properly, they're quite handy
  12. Nice work pal, feels good doing your bits yourself. Standard cats still holding up well. You need to get to more club meets and drive pal 😉
  13. Would have been nice to see the episode whereby the TG showed the award, would have turned sales around and more importantly the image of the car here in the UK. However it might have added 30-50% to the used car values reducing its bang for buck appeal. NISSAN 350Z – ‘TOP GEAR MAGAZINE CAR OF THE YEAR’ 2004 Top Gear Magazine commented: “From the moment you sit in the driver’s seat, the Z feels like something special. It has the right shape, the right noise, the right pace, the right poise. All at the right price. The Nissan 350Z deserves its place as our car of the year”. https://uk.nissannews.com/en-GB/releases/release-12348-nissan-350z-top-gear-magazine-car-of-the-year-2004
  14. Touch more power than our 03-05 350z however US tuned suspension as the UK version had slightly better body control. At least it was the higher spec with leather, Brembo brakes and BOSE sound system however no remote audio or cruise control. Much wrong information in that review. "Datsun as Nissan was called back then" No Nissan were always Nissan however used Datsun to launch the brand overseas. "Renault engine in the 350z" again no it was a Nissan designed and built engine that Renault had used (lesser tuned) as a customer.
  15. Definitely misconceptions following on from Clarkson's review of it back in the days, although much better drivers ie Vicki Butler-Henderson and Tiff Needell absolutely loved it.
  16. Nearly 20 years from debut and with no new Z for Europe, is now the time for a 350? https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-spottedykywt/nissan-350z--spotted/45064
  17. That looks epic!!! Great work, look at those welds 😍
  18. When lowered less camber yields more toe in using factory toe arms https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111683-db-nissan-350z-gt-05/?do=findComment&comment=1842023
  19. Rear cambers arms can change both camber and indirectly toe. If the adjustments are being done at a shop, they'll be able to dial it in to a sensible setting.
  20. Cheers pal From what I gather the exhaust was less than a year old when I bought it, so only a light clean up was needed. It's a stainless steel system inc tips - full write up seen below. https://www.350z-uk.com/topic/111683-db-nissan-350z-gt-05/?do=findComment&comment=1830587
  21. My guess is if you were to ask any F1 racing driver would you want to finish the race behind the safety car or battle it out to the finish line? No driver is going to say behind a safety car, IF the track is safe to use. We've all seen incidents whereby lapped cars are allowed to overtake the safety car in an effort to resume racing order. The matter of the cars behind Max not being also allowed to form an order to then go racing. So..... Why have Sainz potentially getting tangled with the leaders who will decide the championship. With two cars battling around a lap you're going much slower than you would normally, so a fast charging Ferrari isn't going to add any value to the conclusion of the championship. Even Norris who qualified 3rd on the grid said in an interview that at the start he would hang back and not get tangled with the lead pair as they battled for the title. Either way it's split milk
  22. Fantastic race/season and the better driver won. Either the first lap or the last, Max drove the socks of that car. Had Max been provided with a capable car years back, Lewis wouldn't have won half his titles. In the past he has bullied Massa, Nico and Botas on track however against a competitor he can't bully he'll come off second best and evidently so. Well done Max
  23. Done a great job, very nice work fella as they look effective.
  24. Nice one fella, after chatting at the ace cafe meet you said you were set on another Z - well played
