  13. Really smart in blue, car looks lovely.
  14. Replied to your PM I could pick just as many wholes in the observed and untested theory of evolution as one could about the Bible, thank you for your efforts. I'll await the wave of YouTube videos on the 24th September for the OP topic lol
  15. Cheers for that, seem very clear cut but as I suspect it's wrong. Biology has vindicated Darwin: researchers have identified primitive eyes and light-sensing organs throughout the animal kingdom and have even tracked the evolutionary history of eyes through comparative genetics. (It now appears that in various families of organisms, eyes have evolved independently.) Similar genetics is not proof of evolution, it's similar however not changing. Of course animals that live in dark places need other instruments other that normal eyes to see light as we do now. Where is it documented of genetics of a creature changing form into another creature? We can find fossil of dinosaurs, however where are these half pig half elephant creatures fossils that are in museums all over the world? All theory at very best, nowt more. Christians can believe what they wants as mentioned I'm not a Christian lol I have previously in this thread stated my own personal thoughts on age of the earth with back up for this.
  16. When did I say I thought the earth was 6000 yrs old?........ Viruses are just that, they don't become anything other than a virus. Im after facts that a fish became a human? Clearly evolution is constant, so where our freak half lizard half monkey animal? Yes codes of DNA or life structure might be similar, but not the same or changing into a different species. There has never been any documented incident of this in the entire history of the earth, if so link me already with the facts. I've done my best to present by answers to questions, I would appreciate the same courtesy.
  17. The word of God is not a concept. I've provided examples of knowledge found in the Bible not seen by science until generations later. As I've said openly, I'm not a Bible SME I can't qualify most aspects of the scriptures. Picking holes in a fictional book is a pretty fruitless task for you I'm sure. If I've missed it I apologise, would be keen to see evidence of evolution and details of how zeezeebaba life is now better without the bible? Happy for PM - Genuine questions
  18. Observation, on the meaning question. My reply was taking into account humanity as a whole and not just thinking about myself. You're reply centred around meaning for you with friends and family validating your meaning....... Over and over again we hear superior physical strength isnt ones gaurentee of success in sport, mentality is just as important towards performance. State of mind is crucial, deadline with pressure is key. Years back I qualified for the world skills Olympics 2004 iirc, manage to get through to the 3rd round and the next would have been training in Helsinki for the televised competition. I didn't go no further but the pressure to do a skill in the comfort of a small workshop compared to the world stage is said to be very different and that's where mentality takes over. You have the skills to do a job, however can those skills be shown on the world stage? I think new and shiny are attractive entities, science is new and constantly evolving. The Bible is old and found at the back of bed side tables collecting dust, figures. Peace and love
  19. Sorry, I meant to say the the false Messiah is coming. I appreciate yours and all the comments above, I truly do. I to don't worry about the meaning, supposedly in my mind I already know.
  20. Yes, wouldn't it a wonderful to truly know for sure why this is all here? I mean truly know. Shocked me this week in learning, not only from this forum but a TV program now on YouTube called the big question. Where by God really isn't in the forefront of people's mind. How did we come to be, chance star dust, maybe something else. Most people ultimately are not bothered. Trees provide oxygen by design, yeh not bothered. The sun maintains life on earth and the rain has its role, yeah not bothered. Oh did you see the sale on for the new S7, wow what a score. Just me ranting for once, but makes me sad as I truly feel in most people's heart of heart God has no place. One day my belief is are and this isn't news for anyone is that the answers will come, and it won't be found down the end of a telescope. However before then we have to endure the false Messiah.
  21. My feeling are science can't not prove things that are in existence. Touching back to what I said. Can love remain in a person for someone who has died, yes. So this is something in existence, yes. Did I love my man before and now after she has died, yes. Can science in anyway prove I loved her with facts? No, therefore not everything in existence can be proven with facts. Humour me, but if you have faith God does provide understanding to everything in existence, something science will never do. Science provides no reason as to why we are all here or how nothing then became something. I'd rather live in a world that has meaning, than one that doesn't.
