What a complete mess that was trying to get in, worst organisation I've EVER witness at a car show just awful. They were letting public in with club members, then turning people away with individual stand passes. Major C0CK up with mailing out the passes for many clubs as they got mixed up with Saturdays and Sundays events. Parking for some club were crammed into plots way to small for bookings. Just sooo bad, on a plus note my track session was decent and apart from a couple of knobs going up my tailpipes through bends & passing me under braking while I was slowed by a GTO.

All the loaner does is add to the overall cost of the non fault claim. I'm sure a AMC would send you out a RR if if asked, in the end the bill will need to sit somewhere and can be disputed by the third party insurance company retrospectively.

It's the noise your car hearing it even at low speeds from the outside which I find awesome

I dont have the same issue as you, but 100% the fuel gauge and DTE read out takes into account how the vehicle is being driven at that very moment. Ive been out on track and the fuel light came on, pulled into the paddock turned it off. Few minutes later and on flat ground, the gauge went back up to 1/4 tank. In previous cars with no mpg display id always reset the trip when putting a set amount of fuel in, so id always have a rough idea of how many miles ive got left in the tank. Maybe try that, then later when you get a good idea on how far combined driving style 10 litres gets you - the rest is east math *as a guide

Same, to my mind a vehicle like the X is excess nobody needs a 90k+ EV SUV. Day to day it does nothing more than a 50k SUV would and over the course of ownership will not save you the difference from the purchase price. Neither is it a positive impact on the planet when you factor in cost to build, ship and disposal once it's no longer of use. Also the annual service costs of £1400 for the first two services is horrendous imo considering what the actually do.

From this incident ultimately you and your family are ok and not injured, thankfully the Ibiza driver too. In light of the recent events in the UK whereby the absolute worst things imaginable have happen, be humble. What if your car was stolen and there was no third party to claim off? Who would you enjoy taking to court? What if the stolen car had you daughters very first 1st place award for a project, which to your family was irreplaceable what then? find comfort in the knowledge that options are on the table and not dwell over those that aren't.
