I had an ST205 not long ago as well as an ST185. The ST205 is a great car and a bit of an unsung hero in the turbo 4WD department. These can easily cane an impreza with a de-cat FMIC and an EBC @ 1.2 bar. I had mine up to 302 hp with the mods stated above. Did that all day long without any problems. The 3S-GTE is an awesome engine and the REV 3 that you have in yours responds really well to mods compared with the REV 2 in the ST185. You've got a really nice example there that are not often seen on the roads. I hope you have many years of happy motoring with it. It's a good choice.
  2. They are beautiful, but as ATTAK says, expensive!! A lot of money to spend only to spend more time with the bonnet up in a layby.
  3. if I had that Porsche, i'd drive it to talk to the next door neighbour, via the bypass...............................................................twice.
  4. Unfortunately my dad had a love affair with Citroen for a while. Spent many years in the passenger seat wearing a paper bag on my head. Yeah, they're pretty funky these days but, would I buy one? with real money?? ................................no.
  5. Yeah, £1300 does seem ridiculously high. I think you could re-spray a Micra for that money. With a good paint match, that door repair should be roughly £250 / £300 i'd've thought. Can't think how they arrived at 1k on top of that.
  6. Hotline Miami 2. Been waiting a year for it, and it's stuperb!
  7. I think we're going to ditch the apostrophe in the next few years. Shock horror.
  8. Having a Zero hour contract is basically one day away from having no work. I agree with some of what Ekona has mentioned but if it were as easy as " i'll just won't work for two years and enrol on a course at uni/college " then this wouldn't be a problem at all, but it's not always like that. That is the " real world " We don't know the foibles involved in people's lives in order to make such a judgement. Zero hour contracts provide a situation where people who want to work can be taken advantage of to some degree. People who want to work shouldn't really be in that kind of situation. I think the government give enough ammunition to those who won't work. Zero hour contracts is not much of an incentive.
  9. True, but perhaps some people don't have that choice Either way, it definitely needs to be dealt with.
  10. It's not just aimed at unskilled staff. It is also rife in the TEFL/ESOL industry where you have highly skilled grammarians and linguists who'll work on zero hour contracts. As already stated, there is work but your employer can drop you like a bad habit if they want to without any concerns of legal action of unfair dismissal on the part of the employee.
  11. You're wrong Sorry but this made me chuckle
  12. Just for those who've already bought tickets for the live shows. There's something about it on msn.
  13. What a bummer. Really hope you get this sorted out and make the monster live once again.
  14. BMW 330d E90. Great car for bombing about in. Get about 47mpg usually(motorway). Not bad eh?
  15. sometimes the tip might slide against the inside of the tube, thus getting a duff reading. Just keep doing it until it becomes consistent.
  16. well, it seems he might be sacked today according to Radio 2.
  17. when I had a standard Y-pipe on purchasing the zed, mine also had a hole in the flexi, made a god awful sound similar to what you've explained. I imagine it's the flexi rattling against itself. I bought a new system and the new flexi still rattles a little @ around 2rpm but that's a common trait apparently on after market systems as there is less support on the Y-pipe compared to the standard (without a gaping hole)
  18. Haven't read all the posts so apologies if this has already been said but, how can she complain if she 's also feeding Ethel? " your chicken, it keeps coming into my garden" she says feeding it. Surely she is also seducing your chicken into her garden and then complaining about it
  19. I bought mine from co-parts as a cat-D. Only cosmetic damage, needed new NS wing, NS light and bumper. I had a butchers, no chassis damage, full service history from Nissan done on a regular basis P1s 2s and 3s. 75k on a 55 plate. I got an absolute bargain. I'll never make my money back on it ( mods ) but I don't care
  20. That looks nice. cabin looks like a nice place to be too! Love the shiny gadgets.
