  1. I've been caught out a couple of times already, luckily in a straight line pulling away. I never give the zed any welly in cold wet whether.
  2. that's really sad. I'm a great fan of his. RIP Mr.Rickman
  3. I must be really lucky, my gear changes are fine. O.k, 2nd is a tiny bit reluctant but generally it's good.

    GT-Four

    Looking tidy Coldel.
  5. If the bite is getting lower and lower after driving for a while, it'll be the slave cylinder for sure. Happened to me. I changed it and it's never happened since. HTH
  6. O well, I guess you're only young once, got to do something stupid to tell your kids. What rubs my rhubarb is when someone puts cheap blue lights in their 25 year old Nova, and then drives around in the day time with them on high beam Oh wow!! your car isn't really 25 years old, it can't be, due to those bloody blinding lights that have no place to be on during the day, you pretentious prick.
  7. I prefer the ugly sister, The delta S4. Those group B rally days were insane!! that car with 600 hp for the love of Christ!! iirc, they put the petrol tank under the front seats, causing pilot and co-pilot to burn to death. utter madness.
  8. Absolutely stunning!!! if I had that car, i'd happily go and get some milk from the corner shop down the road via the by-pass roughly 4 or 5 times that interior looks like pure quality sarnie as does the engine bay. Excellent choice my jedi.
  9. Sarah cox, Radio 2 " it is with great honour to announce that, David Bowie is dead". with great honour? You can't prefix the death of someone with "great honour", you can play his music in honour of his death but not announce with honour surely?
  10. I've got Agency power single exit and it's the dogs danglies!!!
  11. i'd try and find the cleanest RX7 FD and mod it to the max using premium parts or just buy one from the overly priced New-Era imports guys. The same for an old Pulsar GTi-R. Buy the cleanest one I could find for the money and mod it into a monster.
  12. Matt black or matt gun metal dark or the bronze.. 3 choices, not helpful. I like the bronze.
  13. that SS-2, didn't that have the asthmatic FE engine rather than the GE? still, looks good though, but i'd've thought the MR2 was way quicker than the S3.
  14. They are ballistic but I quite like the fact they don't look that different to most other TTs. Almost like a sleeper

    GT-Four

looks better by a country mile that.
  16. Cheers Jetpilot. i'll check them out.
  17. I have a 2005 DE on stock suspension. I have bought some Tein progressive springs. I was going to put them on with the standard shocks until I read they will probably give up after a while. So, without going down the coil-over route with the intention of making it a static ride, can anyone recommend some shocks that can be married to the Teins?
  18. Slightly off the beaten path but, did anyone see a documentary on the history of Star Wars last night? It was pretty good and gave some pretty interesting facts of how the characters were changed in the process of making Star Wars. Apparently Han solo was supposed to be a green alien originally and they did 100s of sketches of the millennium falcon and never got to an agreed design. They had a break at McDonalds and when one of the designers bit into his hamburger, he thought that's what the Millennium falcon should look like.
  19. False. You can't use your average pencil in a spacecraft as graphite conducts electricity and shatters under normal use (pencil lead breaking) when your pencil lead breaks fine graphite dust is released which could cause hell floating around getting into fine electrics. The truth of the story is far better, special "space pencils" were used in the 50's which were $125 each or something crazy, but in the end both sides used the Fisher Space Pen which neither side paid anything to develop. Thanks for that!! I can show this to my Russian colleague and wipe the smug grin on his face. Whenever there's a bit of banter he always chimes in with " In Russia......."
