As we all know, manufacturers are making a lot more 1.6 turbo/2L turbo engines with awesome maps to match the kind of lazy power the 350 dishes out with better economy and cheaper tax.

I find it really childish that a country's government will conspire to cheat to try and win at any cost. What's the point in winning if you never really did? I just don't get it at all. Plus the fact that most nations suspect they have been cheating anyway makes it even more arse backwards. It's like a glorified school sports day with a hell of a lot of money chucked at it. Pathetic.

This is how I feel about it. Big deal. Far more important things to worry about than people cheating by running from A to B. And anyway, why would Russia want to "sabotage" the London Olympics? I must've missed something.

I love that too. Apparently the phrase " to pay through the nose " came from when the Vikings - or possibly the romans - collected taxes. If you didn't pay, they'd cut your nose off. Hense paying through the nose. "As thick as two short planks" is supposed to be "As thick as two shore planks" planks that were used to stop a large boat bouncing off the harbour wall once it had moored.

Just out of interest - due to a conversation I had earlier this week - does anyone know why pilots say " roger" after communicating on a radio? Also I have commonly heard the expression "Tally ho" to which I've also heard "Sally ho". Which one is correct and where did they come from?
