Hi Ed, You can "PM" Tom simply by hovering your cursor arrow over his name. This will then bring up his avatar board which will have the "send message" icon in it. Click that and write your message ~ the message will be sent to him on here but also his email so you may get a better response that way. Good luck.

When you own a Zed and contract Zeditus AKA Zeditis it is definitely a never ending list.

If you're thinking of having an engine rebuild rather than buying a second hand motor like I linked then one person to speak to that springs to my mind is Keyser. Loving the front view but the back is terrible and definitely needs lowering & bigger wheels/exhaust. Also the interior & dash looks pretty good to me apart from that thing in the centre that just looks like an iPad plonked on the dash. After thought?

I was just about to say that. Lot's of threads where someone has had to part with their Zed but states they'll get another one day. Hopefully it's true and it'd be nice for those members if their accounts still available for them imo.

That's cool, ....I image you could see 280kph definitely. The Zeds are supposed to be geared for around that speed in 6th gear so it's definitely possible.

Well the standard CAT's look like the one's on the below picture (two things with heat shields).. If it doesn't look like that then chances are you've either got De-CAT's or HFC's.

Not impressed, ...still 500rpm left on the tachometer till the red line. That's cool though really. Djtimo's video always impresses.

Yes it was well kept and cheished . . . I have not found a Z with the same kind of noise as the Alfa, after my wedding I may invest into more noise, but realistically I think I would have to get a V8 to better the Alfa Sound . . . (Hope to be proven wrong) Well a V8 in a Zed would obviously do it, ....although you could always try the Motordyne exhaust system & test pipes ~ one of the best noises I've heard from a Zed.

One word of caution regarding wraps ~ me & my mate who used to run a catering business together had our large Iveco van wrapped to help with advertising. The wrap looked great but unfortunately the company that did it made a few mistakes when doing it. When cutting the wrap to fit around edges/doors etc they cut too deep with their scalpels and even went through the paint down to primer & even bear metal in a few places. Obviously we complained once we noticed this and some of this had to be rectified at their cost using a "chips away" type person who they sourced to spray paint areas of the van where they had gone through the paint. Unfortunately we found more areas they had cut into years later when the business was closed for business & the wrap removed completely. Some areas had even started to rust slightly so it did effect the re-sale value of our van. Just fyi.

^^ Remember seeing that lovely well kept Alfa when you joined monkeybrain. Sort the exhaust out on your Zed if you haven't and you'll get a sweet sounding V6 noise again.

I've had problems with Paisley Freight too and would rather walk across broken glass to deliver parcels myself rather than rely on them again for any deliveries.

Kph is a ridiculous way imo to read speed in any vehicle. Mph makes much more sense to me.

When that happens to me I just wish my Zed was like James Bonds Aston and I could release an oil slick or some caltrops or better yet rear facing machine guns. You did the right thing though grumpyoldjanner.

Have you seen chameleon wrap? pretty different and available in gloss & matte finish. Lot's of nice purple colours available as well.
