  1. Nope and nope...... You guessed well its a Alloy Wheel box, but the contents aren't far away from a Alloy Wheel Big brake kit? Now that would be cool.
  2. If you can get a video of this thing in action that would be cool.
  3. Look's great especially with one of Marks polished plenums to complement the parts from Tarmac Sportz.
  4. /thread. What Lexx said btw in case you didn't get that.
  5. Good stuff Vlad. Can be a right PITA when things like what happened to you with the spacer occur but well done for persevering.
  6. Are you talking about the leather seats? or cloth? Found this on Youtube so they obviously got the old ones off ok, ...Link:
  7. Welcome aboard alistair and nice Zed. Few mods already by the looks of it then. Hope you enjoy it.
  8. The only clamps on the Invidia are for the rear tail pipes ~ this is a good thing as it allows you to get the tips positioned correctly with your rear bumper and also if you fancy a change of tip it's an easy swap or if your originals get damaged again easy swap. Also the Invidia exhaust system has no flexi joints unlike that DC system. Hate flexi joints so much as they are so prone to damage & are a definite weak point on any exhaust system. After researching a lot before getting my exhaust system I decided the best one for me was the Invidia Gemini exhaust system with Berks HFC's from Tarmac Sportz. Sounds great, looks ace, excellent quality & no drone.
  9. Really sucks to read that this has happened to you Matt. Been there several times and it's never a nice feeling when an engine lets go. Good luck with whichever way you decide to go with your Zed.
  10. Very nice Mr mav. What tyre size front & rear did you end up going for in the end then?
  11. I'm pretty sure he is a member on here, ...the number plate rings a bell. Great pictures DDay and some fantastic cars.
  12. Well that's good news. Now you can really enjoy them.
  13. Liam you can get emergency locking key removal tools. Like in the below link. 14. Just one thread I found about it parrello; http://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-drivetrain/313656-project-2jz-in-a-350z.html Plenty more & videos too on Youtube.
  15. ^^ Lol. If you have the standard CAT's then going for HFC's or De-CAT's would help increase a bit of exhaust noise. Mine pops & burbles quite a bit with my Invidia Gemini exhaust system & Berks HFC's.
  16. Fair enough Michael, ...whatever works for you my friend.
  17. Looks a really nice Zed ~ any engine bay pics? Alloys look great in that colour btw.
  18. Best way to search is by using google ~ just put "350Z UK ..." followed by what you're looking for and you'll get much better success. The forum search function is a bit naff imo.
  19. ^^ What he said. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/50040-scrap-value-of-cats-the-ones-on-your-car/ http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89811-rough-price-of-350z-cats-for-scrap/
  20. Times in the detailing world have changed quite a bit since then Michael. I used to use a sponge on my cars as well but after seeing the damage they can do to your paintwork and taking advise from people with much more knowledge on the subject than myself I have changed my ways. My basic quick car washing method is now as follows; Pre-wash: Firstly using a jet washer, followed by snow foam (left for 5 minutes) then jet washed off. Wash: Always use two buckets ~ one with my Meguairs Gold class shampoo in & the other with clean cold water for washing my woolen wash mitt (not a sponge as this can leave swirl marks ). Rinse off shampoo using a jet washer. Dry the entire car with a GTechniq drying towel (no chamois). Then I clean my alloys separately at the end using the same techniques but with their own wash mitt/drying towel. Sometimes I do other things but that's my basic wash cycle. 21. It's unlikely you will notice a speed/acceleration difference at all imo. I went from 18" Rays forged alloys which are very light weight to 19" Rota alloys which are heavier and carrying more weight with larger tyres as well. Honestly cannot notice a difference in acceleration although there will obviously be some difference. Neither do I find the ride harsher. The offset is a difficult thing to advise you on as depending on the shape/style of alloy you want you may need to change this in order to clear your brake calipers or to prevent tyre rubbing. If I was you I'd definitely send a PM to Mitz at the Cougar Store as he is much more experienced on this sort of thing to advise you.
