  1. EPR have a few nice ones; http://www.epracing.co.uk/search.asp?numSearchStartRecord=1 Loads of choice from Demon Tweeks although some chav stuff; http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/gear-knobs Quite nice "Mugen" carbon fibre gear knob here; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Carbon-Fibre-Mugen-6MT-Gear-Knob-/281514729936?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item418b95e1d0
  2. No idea what I'd chose tbh. Crashed several cars including an 80mph+ roll over down a hill, ...dislocated my shoulder three times, each time putting it back myself (No, not like Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon), ...met my Mrs (only joking that's a good thing ), ...the dentist shoved a tooth through the top of my mouth whilst trying to remove it leading to an outpatients operation (knocked out) & 8-10 stiches in my mouth, ..oh yeah and a twisted testicle again leading to an operation (knocked out) which left me walking like John Wayne afterwards for a week or more, plus I had an extended 2 day stay in hospital after they gave me too much anesthesia leading to massive vomiting spells as well as some other fun symptoms. There's more but this is starting to depress me now & make me feel unlucky or something.
  3. That's so rare nowadays, ...most of the time these idiots seem to get away with it.
  4. From what I've read they do but a lot of them have been fixed under warranty by Nissan or by using upgrade aftermarket parts usually from Litchfield Motors. Graham probably knows more about it though than me tbh.
  5. Just upset to find out GTR's might well be going up in value instead of down. I just want one so bad! Can't afford £30K plus motors though.
  6. Wait, what? Don't mess with me now Graham, ...I need these to come down in value, ..not go up!!.
  7. Honestly unbelievable. Shocking crash to say the least.
  8. I was thinking exactly the same.
  9. Any pictures David? Seen that done on only one other 350 before and it looked really good.
  10. Sorry to read about that Andy. Wish you all the best mate and a speedy recovery especially at this time of year when really everyone should just be enjoying it. The car can wait, ..health comes first.
  11. Exactly my first thought. I know right. I mean for all we know the 370 driver could have been driving safely & sensibly, ...but then suffered a heart attack or stroke or some other medical emergency leading him to put his foot on the accelerator, lose control as he was passing out leading to the crash. Could then be seriously injured through no fault of his own and other people just carry on driving past as if nothing has happened! No empathy some people.
  12. Not a nice thing to see happening to anyone but he was kind of asking for it driving like that. Although I think it annoys me more that the camera car guy didn't stop to check if the 370 driver was ok. .
  13. Better safe than sorry & if your mate can check the code for nothing then bonus.
  14. Personally if it was me I would go for an aftermarket stainless steel Y-pipe. All depends though on your funds obviously as you could probably get a secondhand OEM Y-pipe for £50-£60 odd whereas any aftermarket stainless steel one is going to be at least £100+ depending on manufacturer. The Cobra ones from the Cougar Store are £275 and Clark Motorsport have developed their own Y-pipe which is £250-£270 odd depending on pipe size you go for. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/90183-new-y-pipe-available-from-cms/ Link: http://cougarstore.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10&products_id=112&zenid=bcaa60565806895c2c0f2d2ff1b32aee There are of course the eBay "specials" which I wouldn't recommend but they are a lot cheaper. Some stainless steel ones around £100 or less but no idea how well they'd fit or the quality of them so it would be a gamble. Fyi ~ Changing the Y-pipe won't make the car louder at all imo (it's just pipe work/no baffles).
  15. ^^This. Definitely get a code reader or have the code read by a garage just to be sure first though. OBDII code readers can be bought very cheaply on eBay btw.
  16. Just act like you're some rich guy's son or a self made millionaire & I'm sure even you will have a good chance. I want pictures though, ....please.
  17. Was a total bust today unfortunately, ...got too dull & dark plus I couldn't think of anywhere suitable so gave up in the end. Next weekends probably my last chance.
  18. Very nice indeed. I'm actually surprised at how good it looks perched on top of the standard lip spoiler. Good job.
  19. Yeah, that's what made me post about it to be honest... I expected something different if it was blowing but was the only thing I could think of I haven't checked the air intakes because I thought it was coming from the exhaust in a blowing type fashion but that's a good shout so will give that a go and report back tomorrow (bit dark now to play about) It was making the noise before I fitted the HFCs I got from you so if there was a problem I was expecting the garage to let me know my Y pipe was fooked but as they didn't I have just carried on. What's made me look into it is that I've had my headunit out for a few days while I replace it and have driven around in silence and its just got a bit annoying hearing this hiss so often, sounds like ive got a dump valve sometimes! ^ As you've highlighted though Graham the noise was there before fitting the HFC's, ....maybe leaking from the Y-pipe flexi joints?
  20. Aaahh I see, ...still technically a car related injury, "sort of". Dog looks great btw. Love little Dogs.
