  2. Afternoon all, Thought it was time to upgrade my head unit, just found this on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Double-DIN-Android-5-1-Car-Headunit-DVD-Player-GPS-DAB-WiFi-3G-OBD2-DVR-BT-RDS-/191896277578?hash=item2cade8d24a:g:jFgAAOSw-4BXX73M Ive had a search but cant seem to find an awful lot about them, anyone fitted similar how did you get on etc, problems and results etc? Thnx in advance
  3. Oh and yes my bad about the mot... will be booked in at cougar store this week for mot. So will have a full 12 months Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  4. I will post a pic of service history later to prove mileage. All garage stamps (most nissan dealers) except the last 2 which I have done myself. I have stapled in receipts for parts used to prove Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  5. Morning all, Right unfortunately the time has come to sell my zed L It is in immaculate condition inside and out. The only reason for sale is I now need something more practical to carry the kids around. Heres a few details. It’s a 2005 Model in the cheaper tax bracket Current mileage 28,320 Only 2 owners (including myself) Full service history (see pictures soon) GT Edition in Kuro black with the usual extras, heated leather seats, bose sound system. Mods: Invidia true dual exhaust with burnt stainless tips (still have the original) Berk Sports Cats (Sounds amazing with the invidia exhaust) (Still have originals) Plenum spacer Iriduim spark plugs (1,000 miles) Pop charger air filter (still have the original box) Volk GTs 19†Alloys (still have the original wheels) Tyres pretty much brand new only covered 4,000 miles Toyo proxes T1-R Front 245/40/19 Rears 275/40/19 Front splitter Stainless steel front grille Nismo rear spoiler Brembo brake pads and grooved discs all round (approx. 1,000 miles) Red stainless steel braided hoses all round (approx. 1,000 miles, brake fluid flush at same time) Rear diff oil changed approx. 2000 miles ago Not really sure on price as I haven’t seen many examples of this low mileage with the mods/alloys so was hoping for some feedback. As it stands I was hoping for around £13,000 or around about £10,000 without the alloys/exhaust as you can see from pics it really is an immaculate example.
  6. Evening all, Just wanted to say big thanks for to Cougar store for works carried out last weekend and squeezing me in for a last minute MOT. Fantastic job lads Cheers
  7. Ahh i found this post when browsing around: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/21148-bleeding-brakes/page__st__60 dunno why search didnt pick it up anyway, that sorts the order of bleeding out
  8. Evening all, Sorry if this has been covered but Ive searched in the guides section and other and cant find a propper post for it other than general comments here and there. Anyway, im thinking about overhauling my brakes when funds allow consisting of: Braided lines New discs New pads New Motul RF600 fluid. Ive managed to get hold of the nissan service guide and replacing the hoses, pads & discs looks pretty simple. But when coming to bleeding the system its useless. It just says 'have a helper pump the brakes and bleed from the rear right nipple, keep doing this untill no air bubbles are to be seen' Well I know that there is a specific order using both nipples on the brembo calipers. Could someone confirm this for me please? Also it doesnt mention how to flush the old fluid out except from 'Open the rear right nipple and pump the brakes untill no more fluid comes out' Again ive read some posts that say do not let the master cylinder run dry as this can create issues? Any advice on what to do here please? Finally, when ive done previous brake bleeds before ive used an adapter that fits on the reservoir and connects to a tyre which pressurises the system and forces all the fluid out, ive used this before to bleed the brakes as theres no pumping the pedal and no chance of any air getting back through the nipples. Has anyone used this system on the zed before? Many thanks and when I do the job ill be sure to do a full guide with pictures for future reference
  9. did you get any issues with the quiet speakers after fitting that head unit, looks smart by the way
  10. Evening all, Right im looking to upgrade the standard cd player to something along the lines of these, too make it look a bit more modern inside, http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5d4653d56e http://www.ebay.co.u...=item20f5852a62 I know a few peeps have used the x2600bt has anybody had any experience with the 2700bt? I cant see what extra you get with it for the extra £20 purchase price.. Ive also found this wiring kit as id like to keep the steering controls etc: http://www.ebay.co.u...mMakeTrack=true Would this be all I need? Also is there anybody on here selling these wiring kits or is the price not too bad on that including the facia? Cheeeeeers
  11. Morning all, Im after a new stereo system for my zed. Id like full size screen, with the facia surround and the bose/steering wheel adapters. Anyone have anything they want to get rid of or could recommend a decent place to buy new? Cheers
  12. ah reet, cheers for that. i must admit ive not tackled a fluid swap yet but have only noticed the one on the outside
  13. Evening all, Has anyone used these before if so any thoughts? http://www.ebay.co.u...s-/400753590728 I do like the look of the black discs Cheeers
