  1. That's not as bad as I thought they might be tbh but still expensive for a pair yes. Very cool though.
  2. Like those Andy. Were they "expensive" & do you have a link to were you got them.
  3. To illustrate ground clearance for you Nate ~ My old Zed on standard OEM suspension with an Invidia Gemini exhaust system. Hope that helps.
  4. Welcome aboard Paul. Buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ Zeds for sale here: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/
  5. What's your local circuit then or somewhere you'd like to try? I've done a few "experience" type days which are always good fun, ...like driving a Formula Ford, Lotus Elise, Ferrari etc. Most circuits do those. Or did you actually want a "track day" with an open pit lane but using one of the available cars at the circuit instead of your Zed?. Plenty of choice here: http://www.virginexperiencedays.co.uk/silverstone?gclid=CNusus_95M0CFRDhGwodtLYKJw
  6. If I'm understanding your problem correctly then it sounds like the back box would need opening up in order to re-weld or replace the baffles. I'd try asking a custom exhaust place such as "Longlife" or similar as they maybe able to repair it for you.
  7. I know Tarmac Sportz did have some rear spats, link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/95819-370z-rear-spats-now-available-160/ Definitely worth sending him a PM (private message) to see if he can still get them & whether he has any for the front too. Failing that you could also try asking Adrian@TORQEN (in the "Professional Traders" area). As to how they fit well I'd guess it was a case of 3M double sided tape, maybe a couple of screws, possibly some tiger seal just to be safe. Dead easy to fit items imo providing they are good quality & fit the contour of the rear bumper etc.
  8. Welcome aboard Rycatz. Buyers guide here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/77426-buyers-guide/ My old build thread if you fancy a good read with lots of pictures : http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91628-gmballistics-zed-supercharged-2003-gun-metal-gt-coupe-vids-added/
  9. If they're not going in then I think sanding the edges of the bungs with some wet & dry paper might be your next step to getting them to fit.
  10. GLWTS Gareth & as discussed add some more pictures of the TT set up/bottom end etc when you can to help the sale.
  11. Have you cleaned up the insides of the exhaust pipes? If they're all black & coked up still that might be enough to stop the bungs from fitting properly.
  12. I actually prefer your new ginger Zed if I'm honest. You say it came with a few mods; one thing I can see you've missed off the list of mods though is the front & rear brake discs as they're definitely not standard. Look very cool with the grooves & holes/dimples. Enjoy the new Zed Valy.
  13. Copy the Youtube link and then paste it in between Youtube tags but remove the "s" from the http otherwise it won't work. Guide below in the link but remember to post the URL between Youtube tags. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...youtube-vidoes/ Nice video btw & looks like a lot of fun.
  14. Don't get me wrong, I do like the colour. When I say "it's not a colour I'd ever choose for a car" that's because the cars I'm buying aren't supercars unfortunately, ...don't think the colour would work too well on your more average performance cars. Suits the Lambo though nicely.
  15. I usually go to a local supplier called Phoenix as they're so cheap for decent stainless steel bolts/nuts/washers etc and as you say you can see exactly what you need so mistakes don't get made. Screwfix do have bolts too btw and I'm sure there'll be a branch local to you. I bought a mixed set from them years ago similar to the one below... 16. No wonder they're so darn quick then, ...there is nothing in them.
  17. Yep but as I mentioned there can be some difference on head size/spanner needed depending on the country of origin for the bolt. Hence why I put up the table picture & the link to another size table.
  18. ^^ Loving that Adrian. The colour is not really something I'd ever choose for a car but it really works on supercars like the Lambo.
  19. Exactly, ...let them be the guinea pig. Plenty of members running coilovers so hopefully you can get some decent advice from them on what different set ups offer you.
  20. Pick up is tomorrow now!!! can't wait!!! going to be emotional getting rid of the vx220 tho! Change every so often is a good thing I think. Good luck and don't forget to take all your belongings out of the VX. I left a folder full of CD's and my car park pass in a car I once sold & it was a PITA getting them back from the dealer.
  21. The "8.8" has nothing to do with what size it is as it relates to the tensile strength of the bolt. On bolt heads you can get all sorts of stampings on them including: a manufacturers mark, tensile strength, what grade they are ("A270" stainless steel for example) or various marks/symbols to indicate all of the above etc. Link: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=markings+on+a+bolt+head&rlz=1C2TEUA_enGB574GB574&biw=1366&bih=643&site=webhp&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjS_Z_spOLNAhXIBcAKHW6bCFMQsAQIIg#imgrc=_ Although there can be some variants on the head size (spanner needed) depending on the country of origin.
